The Volo thing happened to me. I think in Patch 7 sometimes if you pickpocket him he leaves for a long time. He didn't show up again until the end of Act 2 for me.
First comment I left was about your accent, I'm so sorry if it makes you feel bad, love your accent very much and I think I understend more and more with each video watched, and beside being your first run seems like the game goes pretty good for you. Thank you very much for your content
When you have situational advantage as at 2:29:19 - it would be better to switch from enhance ability to guidance to get additional 1d4. I'm sure you know it, but perhaps not looking to spot it. I'm less skilled and hence more dependent on good rolls, so learned to double check before rolling :) Cheers and thanks for all the hints
I’m pretty sure if you learn Shovel as a Warlock or Draconic Sorcerer you learn it as a ritual spell and have access to it even if you respec, but if you scribe the spell as a wizard you have to keep a wizard level to keep access
Hi Morgana. I've watched many of your bg3 vids. You rock! Question tho .. why did you take Arabella's corpse, and were happy to pay gold to get away with it?
I can't remember if she does it in this run, but you can use Glut to res Arabella as a spore servant, give her a Str elixir and weapon and have her kill things for you without getting into combat. NPCs won't attack her because she has the child tag, so she can do a lot of work for you.
tried voss to drop his sword with command and divination wizard with a 1 an 18 and 20 dice and the game only gave me the option to make voss succeed with my 18 or 20 dice even though he was gonna succeed anyway
Pro tip, A Great weapon fighting Paladin is the strongest class against Grym with Divine Smites and the Great Weapon master feat. If your hit chance is too low, then obviously buff yourself up with Bardic inspiration, Bless or vow of enmity
@@thomasrosendahl2783 sorry to differ but normally a Paladin is the hardest hitter but not against Grym because even when he is superheated he is immune to radiant damage. And you can’t hurt him at all when not superheated. So olain old bludgeoning damage and water with ice are the way to go. And you need to pin him jn the lava which Morgana did by being on the ramp. Which exploits his stupidity. I use command halt but that would be tough in solo. I would need a cleric and a fighter if down on the platform.
@@doloresabernathy9809 you're right, Grym's immune to everything except Thunder and Cold damage when not Superheated, and when he IS Superheated he gets Resistance to Piercing, Slashing, Acid, Thunder, Cold and Force, Vulnerability to Bludgeoning, and retains immunity to everything else. Paladin's basically just a slightly weaker fighter here. In terms of what to throw? Anything with a bit of weight will do. idr the exact calculations offhand, but I know throwing anything with a weight of 0.5kg/1lb from the bottom of the ramp will consistently do 2 damage from htiting Grym and 22 crushing damage from the height. The same item will do 2+32 damage from a few steps further up, and again 2+36 from further up, and so on. The height damage increases the heavier the object and the higher up you go. You can increase it even further with things like the Tavern Brawler Feat, Gloves of Uninhibited Kushigo, Ring of Flinging etc etc, anything that increases Throw damage. I believe a 0.5kg book was thrown this stream that did 2+38 damage, so it really doesn't matter what you use, tho I do recommend the Adamantine Chest from near the Lava Elemental, it's close by, easy to get and weighs 50kg.
I tried killing Raphael in camp exactly like you did, but he just poofed away, giving me the exp but no loot... was this filmed before last patch and they fixed the Act 1 Helldusk armor?
I did it today, it works exactly as it does in the video. The two most common issues are either not having non-lethal attacks toggled on, or not forcing him out of his first conversation before he shows up in camp.
@@irontoof but does Morgana force him out of dialogue in the video? It doesn't look like it to me. Afaik it's not possible to do it that way solo. The way I got him into camp was to simply avoid his spawns, and go straight to the mountain pass after wrapping up the grove questline, which forces a camp with Raphael. It looks like Morgana takes the path straight to Act 2 instead, but both should work no? I'm definitely using non-lethal attacks btw. Even took off all items that could be accidentally doing extra lethal damage, and I am just using the Faithbreaker mace to wail on him. I've tried last-hitting him both in and out of turn-based and he always instantly poofs away giving exp but no loot. My combat log looks just like Morgana's. I must be missing something...
@@thesecondislander yeah, so the problem is skipping the first conversation BEFORE the long rest spawn. You have to do the first conversation, and yes Ev did that first spawn, and yes you can do it solo. You only need to throw a caustic bulb where he will spawn before you get there. He'll spawn into it, take damage and vanish immediately, that's why it doesn't look like he spawned in the vod.
Swords Bard usually wants 16 dex with 14 or 16 charisma. Lore Bard 16 charisma and 16 constitution for spell saving throws. Wisdom should either be at 10 or 12 for mental saving throws, unless you are a Druid, monk or Cleric.
@@joeracer302 My best guess is that she uses some equipment to cover that. Most top level BG3 solo honour mode players never go below 12 Wisdom, mostly because spells like hold person or fear/confusion can end your honour mode run in an instant.
@@formatomi That sounds brave going all through act 1 and early act 2, before getting it at moonrise towers. I myself play tactician, and you really feel the difference coming from balanced difficulty. I one shotted Anders the Tyr paladin with a level 4 Swords Bard on Tactician, surprised that was possible even though i had Sharpshooter and was in stealth mode. Gloomstalker Assassin was able to do the same but is a terrible face of the party going solo, Swords Bard can do it all without any downsides especially if you pick Street Urchin background and Halfling, Deep Gnome or Wood Elf for the extra Stealth.

Bedging. When you sit on the edge of your bed almost ready to get up but you dont amd go back to sleep
Based pre-stream music, thought youtube glitched onto workout playlist at first lmao
You should do something with barbarian shadowheart. Her rage voiceline is my favourite.
Cool, didn't think you could kill Raphael without a hireling lol
From the goblin camp heading to mountain pass, then you’re in camp about to silence raph? When the fukn hell did that happen?
