    Very cool video!! I love that you show and fix your mishaps. Let folks know it’s ok to mess up and fix it right up like a true artist. Love the content!!👍🏽

      Thank you so much! I'm glad you feel that way too. Making mistakes as an artist is just as important as our successes! We've all been there where we say... oh crap now what do I do? We just say okay let's fix it! Really appreciate your support!

    God, Gary. The production value on these videos surpaces itself with each new upload. Also I LOVE this new piece! Never seen anyone tackle these guys.

      Hey Tommy! Thank you so much! I've always thought about making one. They always looked so creepy to me! I'm really having fun with these videos. Its a lot of work but the results are worth it. The videos now are taking just as long as the Sculptures now Ha ha! 🤣 I really appreciate the support and glad you enjoy them!

    I remember seeing poor ole King Triton in his little crown, oh it was SO sad 😞 maybe it's my age but those 80s/90s cartoons hit differently! Oh how I sobbed when Mufasa died in Lion King 🤧
    You've done another beautiful job, capturing all the emotions of a poor unfortuante soul! And I just love how you included some fish tank coral, such a clever idea!!
    I also want to see what you make from your wood triangle graveyard 👌

      I've always thought about all the Souls in Ursula's garden. Each one having a sad story... and the way they grabbed Ariel as she went through the tunnel. Just great story telling! Thank you so much! I'm really glad you enjoyed it. I've got quite a collection of wood triangles! I'm sure one day I can use them for something! Waste not want not!!! 😁

    I watched the first bit of this with the sound off (because of reasons) and I thought, 'That's bold; he's sculpting a wiener - an angry wiener'. Put the sound on at 9:00 and heard what I thought was, 'I wanted to make his testicles look...' and I said to myself, 'Yep, that's a wiener.' Which is not a problem - North of the Border does a lot of angry lady gardens disguised as Pokemon, etc.

      OMG I'm laughing my head off here!!!!🤣🤣🤣 We have a running joke of all my sculptures start out as penis's! Don't know why... but they do! I guess you must have been surprised when he was circumcised.... I mean decapitated! Haaaa! Oh I love North of the Border! He's a great sculptor and I love his sense of humor!

    What would you suggest for a real Matt finish to protect paint & pastel powder for super sculpey ?

    • @clayformations1638
      @clayformations1638  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That a tough one. Truth is I've never found a sealant that I could spray on sculpey, that didn't make it sticky forever. I still have some sculpts that are sticky years later. However, I never had the power fade or rub off. As long as you use flat or matte paint its almost like the powder embeds into the surface.

    • @clayformations1638
      @clayformations1638  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is a glaze called Liquitex, that you can brush on. It comes in flat, matter, or high gloss. I used brown pastel powder on this Sculpture's eyes and used Liquitex high gloss on his eye and it worked very well!
