Thanks to Violette's inspirational videos, I use blue make-up several days a week. It's perfect for my dark brown hair and eyes and my freckled nose. I've noticed that people seem mesmerized and strangers on the street forget to look away from my eyes when I look at them. I used to be too shy to use bold statement colours but this is such a liberating experience and a chic, effortless style that it boosts my mood every day I wear it. Gotta love the blues. :D
i love this look. I have brown eyes too and i love the metallic blue that you have, i have something similar from another brand. The glitter color is so pretty and i love the combo i feel like its a modern take on a classic. Thanks for your videos always so très chic!!
Love it! This is the first time I've seen a blue on the eyes that looks like the color in the palette. I always get a blue that looks vibrant in the package but not on the eyes. Tres Bien Violette!
You look beautiful in blue. I Loved, and it's so good to see the versatility of the pallet. I saw the video with Megan Ellaby and you also made a blue shadow with copper, and looked great on her pale skin and blue eyes.
Such a wonderful matte blue eyeshadow! I love blue so much, like in everything starting from my clothes, my makeup, my jewelry everything. I have so many blue eyeshadows but most of them shimmery, the few matte ones are not vibrant enough. I always end up using an eyeshadow stick or eyeliner to create the dark blue base, but this shadow is everything I would want ❤️ I'm in love.

@@maneliste I don't have sensetive eyes but still hardly imagine myself putting glitter on the waterline. And it seems to be not ok, as other products that you usually put on your waterline are creamy and seem to stay on it rather than get inside the eye
That's an understandable concern, I had a similar thought when I saw her apply it because I also have very sensitive eyes, even eyeliner can bother me in my case. I guess it depends on how sensitive's ones eyes are, and she did say it was a very fine powder so hopefully it won't be too uncomfortable to wear. :)

Blue is something I tend to try to be careful with, my skin is so freaking pale . Bright blues I shy away from, the darker, smoky blue I can deal with.
Again, I must ask, is this the burning star that came out in the collection? The product I bought is a very loose, gritty, glitter that does not stick to the skin? Not at all like the pigment you have shown in your videos. I enjoy the blue dahlia palette so much, but I truly wonder about the „pigment“.

Maybe don't use creams, and use gels instead. Much lighter on the skin, but just as hydrating!
That happens to me sometimes as well! I try to not apply make up directly after, but allow the skincare to get absorbed first.
