Bro. Rs.60000 is the subsidy cap bro. Maximum 60k subsidy for urban two wheelers. That's why most manufacturers are giving 4KWh battery packs.

@@GreenTechSumeethTamil In Fame 2 they limited applicable vehicle cost to Rs 1.5 lakh. So max price considered is Rs 1.5 for any scooter. 40% of it is Rs 60,000. So that is 4Kwh. Need to check if this 40% limit increased.

Bro to use parallel connection both the battery pack needs to have same voltage level. Since one battery pack is detachable voltage level may vary i think that's reason they not gone for parallel connection.
You are 100% right bro, it take an extra Buck boost Module to balance among the battery packs to transfer the power which adds on to the cost but, without parallel setup we would be wasting the resources

@@GreenTechSumeethTamil Are you sure it's steady ? Just because it is slow doesn't mean it's steady. I thought connecting 1.6 kwh removable battery to 3.2 KwH fixed will be hard, but they are running them completely seperate. This is not the greatest of design. They should make it simple design and provide entire battery together. Because if you switch from 3.2 KwH to 1.6 KwH, the performance will surely be effected. Also during low battery situation, they would need to leave buffer in 1.6 KwH and 3.2 KwH battery. Taking care of all this will complicate controller and bms systems. I am not sure they did full prototype and testing. By the time Simple one gets a working prototype with even half of its claimed range, Ola and other EVs will get lots of following.
