thats the thing... dark magician 3sd is too freaki g good most times you dont even need the skill and its pretty common to otk the opponent on the first 5 turns. Other 3sd decka are not as good but some are still kog level
The only time you should ban cards is when they are completely broken. Nothing is wrong with dark magician, don't nerf the smart players who originally made the meta-changing deck
Kaiba Man (the player) was not removed, he changed his name to Dkayed. Dkayed confirmed that Kaiba Man was him and Dkayed is a very well known person in the community (he runs the Duellinksmeta website and ended 2nd in the KC cup). If he or anyone else cheated or not is an entire different conversation, but most likely (considering his status in the community) I would say that the risk of cheating wouldn't be worth it. As for the Dark Magician limit. I think the reasoning for this is Three-Star Demotion AND the new fusion card that's coming out. As we know Restructer Revolution is getting limited because of the lack of interaction you have when playing vs Tea Burn, Three-Star Demotion with Dark Magician + Champions Vigilance is kind of the same thing. If you go first your opponent is almost always screwed if you open that combo. On top of that the new fusion card, I believe the name is Dark Paladin, can negate a spell card by simply discarding a card (Magic Drain on steriods). I think their reasoning for not limiting Champion's Vigilance or nerfing Three-Star Demotion is because Champion's Vigilance is essential for other decks such as Kaiba Man and Red-Eyes, and Three-Star Demotion is probably the skill with the most decks right now (you can run like 2-3 different STRONG versions). Do I personally think/want them to limit Dark Magician instead of Champion's Vigilance or Three-Star Demotion? No. I personally think that there are ways around Dark Magician + Champion's Vigilance combo, moreso than if Tea Burn goes first with THE NUTS. It's also not the strongest Three-Star Demotion deck out there right now, therefor I think hitting Three-Star Demotion would be the "more correct" option, however I think they should've just let it be without nerfing/limiting either one. The meta we have right now allows for around 3 different archtype to share Tier 1 and at least 2-3 archtypes that are tier 1.5. Love your content, been following you since X/Y and it has always made me smile... or shiver in my boots if you misplay!

Shady, there is another red eyes support coming besides Wyvern. The rare card in the preview is "Cards of the red stone," red eyes might become more viable because it's basically a pot of greed.
hey shady. i just thought of the best deck in the world. i can't use it cuz i don't have all the cards. but basically. order to charge. magnet circle lvl 2. dekoichi the battlechanted locomotive. use magnet circle to summon boikoichi. and then set dekoichi. use order to charge to get past their stronger monsters. and maybe run twin barre or sleight of hand with the deck. its just a idea.
It's NOT JUST Vigilance and 3DS, but you also can search DM from the deck with multiple cards and summon it off Sage's Stone. It's also got Thousand Knives and its own Harpie's Feather Duster - DMA being so good that even DM decks in normal YuGiOh play multiple of it. While I think 3 Star Demotion should be nerfed somewhat (making it cost more for example, like 2500/3000LP), I don't think that in itself would stop 3SD Dark Magician being a tier 0 deck in Duel Links.
Shady do you think the super Joey event will come back soon because of the red eyes support in tomorrow's box? If not I'm gonna really regret not getting red eyes spirit from the WCS. I went with sages stone because tea's drop rate is brutal and I only had 1.

I never got to kog in ranked ever and the WCS forced my skills to craft the best decks or get the most wins. 3SD is the first top tier I unlocked... I don't have harpies hunting ground, last gamble, or even duel stand by. the fire 3SD deck you were playing in a vid actually got me to platinum and that was !y first time there . but I kept losing and winning staying in plat. I remembered that making a deck you have to go for common decks vs the decks you lose too...and traps were the issue ...so I made a kiba mirage dragons deck...and it pushed me to Kog and I was happy but really sick of the game because on all the dirty tactics used....then I saw you playing tea burn and felt discouraged to even continue but I forgave you. I just don't understand how they are limiting a card that wasn't used commonly being needed when harpies, last gamble, and mind scan are a thing. I did it with all my might to get threw all the bullshit and there gonna do this after the tournament I think is bullshit. @shadypenguinn
Any ideas what secret rare card i should get from the wcw tournament. I currently run a red eyes deck with two spirits, one meterorite, 2 dimension gates as well as some other cards, I haven't got an e-con yet so im tempted to get that, but any other good suggestions as I know I can farm kaiba for econ maybe something more difficult to get
I feel really bad for not making it to the final qualifiers. I was stuck at plat 3 from the 9th until the 12th of June. And the worst part is that I usually won 4 in a row before losing the rank up match. I just couldn't do it. It's a shame too because I feel like my deck could've really done well in the final qualifiers.
You can make a gandora deck with half shut. It only destroys itself at the end of the turn if it was summoned, so instead you set it and then protect it with half shut. Then you have it on the field permanently and can use its destruction effect once per turn. #gandora
hey shadypenguin i used tobplay duel links but i stopped plaging it because it got tedious but it was fun in the beginning but me playing it isn't as fun as watching you playing it. i wanna say that i appreciate you keep up the good work and still play duel links
