Sir!!! Hosur already has a private airport owned by M/s Taneja Aerospace. The company is 20 years old and started with the manufacture of small aircrafts. Currently they are into A/c maintenance for leading private sector Airlines. The TN Governments proposal for an International airport will not materialise, because the initial agreement of BAPL prohibits any other airport within 165 Kms radius. It is for this reason that the Karnataka government is looking at locations beyond Tumkur for a second airport. If the old HAL airport is made a hub for low cost airline would have given much relief to Bengalurians.
Your suggestions for Wayanad is an excellent suggestion .Even Techies from Hyderabad would join in. The first requsite for Kerala is an airstrip in every district of Kerala for light aircraft. Sea planes too have good potential within Kerala.
