Very informative video bud , many thanks very helpful thought the numbers were a bit more jumpy compared with the 800 seemed to bounce about a lot . like the DP setting will be my choice i think , trial and error i guess'

Appreciate all your testing on the new 900…..Please correct me if I’m wrong but it seems as though you might have accidentally changed the mode of your machine before swinging your coil over your targets…..From the beginning of your video and at 6:43, your Nox was in Field 1……then you did a noise cancel….then you pushed a few more buttons, then at around 6:57 the machine changed to Field 2, and that’s the mode you used to do your testing….The Modes on the 900 look to be the same as they were in the 800 (Park/Field 1 is tailored to high conductors, and Park/Field 2 tailored for low conductors)….. your higher conductors, like the big copper and the shilling would hit deeper in Park/Field 1, and your low conductor targets would be more discernible in Park/Field 2.
What I’m also trying to figure out is how the new iron bias of the 900 (FE only) correlates to the older 800’s (F2 or FE iron bias)……the newer FE IB of the 900 may be a summation of the F2/FE IB filters we had access to on the 800….

capn dan you are definetely right,,does'nt take a genious to see that. Looks like he's denying it,,,but why?.....is there going to be a video showing how the 800 blows the 900 out the water with this test in the next few days or so? ( on field 1 obviously).

You could put the soil in plastic bag then just drop the bag in. Makes it easier to add and remove. Interested in 900 for gold, moved to Oz from UK.

Very interesting test 👍🏻 just shows what difference the recovery speed makes. The Vicky shilling did you check the clod in all metal? Sounds like some iron masking the signal until you changed to DP pal

Nice video matey. Just bought the 900 myself. So you would say the 15 inch coil is a bit deeper than the 11inch?

Yes extra 2 to 3 inche I think on the 15 inch coil

I can't help but feel Equinox have had people over. Build wise its definitely a massive improvement over the 800. But there again the 800 should never have been that way, for the money. Electronically is not better then the 800. Or many other as a matter of fact.

Daniel not sure what was going on with the silver shilling but the rest of the targets were good maybe up the recovery would make it more stable

If you lower the recovery, then you should swing slower ,we aways hunt it recovery 3 on our Roman hoard site but you need to do a 3 to 4 seconds swing ,just cheeses me off as I got my 800 2 months before the 900 came out ,I have used the CTX for 6 years but just had a major back operation so I went foe a 800 ,very impressed but it's built crap ,be lucky to get £600 for the nox and it less than a year old ,so will stick with it
