That’s why we as book readers go so nuts over the image releases because we saw the first image of ‘Selene’ cuddling Rand on the mountain that they released before the last season and had a massive collective freak out. Love the recaps, can’t wait to see what S3 will bring
when Domon brought Moiraine the cuendillar -- we learned in S2E7 that Lanfear gave it to Domon in the first place. So she was manipulating Moiraine already
So fun to see you get to experience the rewatch. You can imagine how great book rereads are! Next episode:Really listen to Selene’s words. It’s great when you know what/who she’s talking about.❤
It’s interesting to see how you’re starting to suspect everyone being a dark friend. 😂 I won’t comment on your predictions because I want to see your reactions when they reveal who’s who. It’s SO shocking and fun!
In the books Perrin has heightened senses of smell that he can tell what people are feeling, maybe things that happened, etc. It doesn’t translate well to the visual screen so we think that they’re showing us what Perrin is sensing because of his Wolf-powers. The wolves also communicate that way, so that might also explain what’s happening with Perrin visually. I think we’ll learn more as Perrin learns more.
Have you two seen the 10 promotional photos they released of season 3 yet? Would be cool to see you analyse the shots and try to figure out whats going on and who the unfamiliar faces might be!
1) How amazing is the Wheel of Time postal service in getting those letters from the middle of nowhere to people and back. That thought still gives me a laugh. 2) While I am not a fan of the Moiraine no power / division with Lan (seems silly, I get why they did it for the show and can discuss when we get there…), I think one of the things they were trying to demonstrate was that Aes Sedai do not need to use their power to still be powerful. And we see this as Moiraine’s arc continues. And yes, that was a very good cold open. I did think that girl was gonna be a trolloc of snack.
They cut Inktar’s final scene so we didn’t get that. A mistake in my opinion. We should feel for the death and it’s just so fast. In the book, we wonder why Inktar is so hysterical about regaining the horn.
I think time constraints as well as the reveal of Moraine’s nephew being a dark friend was enough. Unfortunately we didn’t get to connect with Ingtar in the show, so it wouldn’t have been very impactful.
8:55 I dunno if Perin's vision is part of his abilities or not in the show, but in the book it was Rand who had the vision. The vision (in the book) seemed to be tied to the location, a shadowy memory of what happened, and not any abilities.
SO we think dogs can smell what happened in a location. All the different people have a smell and the violence would have a smell. Who was afraid, etc.
Very interesting Ila theory! Not confirming nor denying, but someday when you're ready in terms of spoiler level, it will be fun to discuss theories about the Tuatha'an woman and the little girl. I think you might be misremembering about Sheriam. She seems suspicious when she blanks on having written the lie about the girls' whereabouts - but then once Verin sees Yasicca's reconstruction of Sheriam's handwriting (getting shaky when making the false entry), Verin seems to thinks it was another Black Ajah using a "weave of Compulsion" to force Sheriam to write that and forget she did it. I can't wait to hear what you have to say about "Selene" now that you know who she really is!! I think they were trying to give a double meaning to everything she says and does, depending on whether you do or don't know her secret yet.
PLEASE NO SPOILERS! 🙏🏽❤ We haven't read the books! Thank you!

I am hoping we can make the reaction videos again! -Tori :)
@@ToriTalksTV I ALWAYS look forward to your reaction videos.

The whole flaming sword thing looked cool... but that had to absolutely ruin that blade's tempering.
Interesting 🤔

@@WheelUpTime Yes! We already filmed the reaction video for it. Should be out soon! Thank you!! -Tori :)

@@scajl I think he did hand her over to the trolloc.
Great video, as always ❤

We don’t know if Sheriam a dark friend in S2. Liandrin. Yes.
Thank you!! -Tori :)

That’s so disappointing. I would’ve like to have seen that. -Tori :)

@@AndyLuu72 Well, some us did. I did. When he died it was so anticlimactic. I didn’t care about the nephew that much.
I agree that the “NEW” Mat is cute. I like him more than the first one imo. He’s cuter. 😂
I thought the first one was better-looking, but that’s just me 🫠 -Tori :)
@@ToriTalksTV I think the other one is handsome while this one is cute. 😂 BUT, Rand and Land are better. Of course, Galad in S3….🤤

I have my theories about Iyla but I'll hold comment until episode 2 as there was a scene there that may shed some light on the situation.
I’m so curious!! 👀-Tori :)
Justice for Moiraine. She trying to save LAN’s life!!!! She DOES want him to leave, go find Nyneave and bond and be happy.
When you put it that way 🥺 -Tori :)

I don’t see how you can suspect Isla.
To be honest, she’s the only memorable female tinker who mentioned having a little girl, so it seems to make sense. -Tori :)
