I've been wanting this camera since I started my TH-cam channel and now I can finally make my dreams of filming cinematic videos come true!
It's all a learning experience because I've never went to school to learn how to film, but I've been practicing and it's so much fun! I love improving my skills and provide you guys with the quality content you deserve 😌
I will post another video tomorrow updating you more on my life lately, since I've been gone from yt for a while :)

Hi my name is Rosie, I'm 26 and my life is a bit confusing so i'm writing this lol.
To make it easy:
- I was born in Northern Italy, in the region of Veneto
- My whole family still lives there (mom, dad and my little sister Marty)
- I moved to Toronto, Canada, at 19 all alone to ✨find myself✨ (spoiler: it didn't work, i got more lost if anything)
So, I live half my life in Italy and half my life in Canada.
Also, my mom is from Moldova (country in Eastern Europe) and my dad is from Calabria (region in Southern Italy) and both my grandmas still live there. So you’ll occasionally see me going there as well.
I hope this clears things up a bit.. or maybe makes them more confusing lol.

Charlotte’s web brand cbd and melatonin combo works wonders. It helps with the anxiety and mind racing and the melatonin helps keep you asleep.
First - your channel is very calming to me, it makes me slow down a bit and enjoy things more. Second - Not everything will work for everyone with insomnia, you just have to try everything and anything. I finally figured out my solution that has worked for the last four years; I make a sleep tea blend with loose leaf from an Etsy shop but you can find most in tea stores. Lots of valerian Root but more than that, Calea Ternifolia which is commonly called "Mexican Dream Herb" (bitter taste), lots of Mugwort, and then Chamomile, Yarrow, Skullcap, and Vervain. I'll mix different "taste" herbs in like licorice root, ginger, and peppermint. It does wonders, and while I do take a half dose of "simply sleep" on nights I'm not really sleepy, my coworkers have used the blend alone and they all have gotten to sleep and stayed asleep the whole night. I keep a similar routine every night, and I've found picking a house photo on pinterest and keeping it in my head and then I match nature sounds to it; I imagine walking through a door, walking down a path to the house, walking in, all the mundane things, it's only me in my mind palace and I drift to sleep. And on nights I can't shut my brain off - sleep stories at low volume ftw. I hope you find your solution soon! It's never just the one thing that will work, it's multiple things together!
I think this is one of your strongest videos visually. You can really tell that you're practicing your craft and trying new things - your creativity really shines through here!
I'm sorry to hear about your insomnia. I have personally struggled on and off with sleeping problems all my life. Turns out that I was living with undiagnosed generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). I started cognitive behavioral therapy back in summer 2022 and I can honestly say that it has changed my life for the better - I've truly never been this happy and "unburdened." I hope that you're able to find a method that works for you to take back control of my life.
I'm an introvert with social anxiety and seeing you doing all these things on your own is really amazing. Italy has always been my dream country after watching Lizzie McGuire movie when I was 10. 😅 Thank you so much for bringing Italy to me. Your videos are always so calming and relaxing yet fun and enjoyable at the same time.

Thinking of others takes us out of ourselves. It really works!
Everyone is different. There is no one cure for social anxiety, speaking as someone that suffers from it severely.

Not everyone's social or any type of anxiety manifests itself in the same way or for the same reasons, and that's why it's important not to generalize, or think like some people who say "it's all in your head" as if it's not real. I suffer from severe anxiety as well, and I wish I had a magic solution, but I do think it's important to not be too hard on yourself and also practice self care like eating healthy, doing deep breathing, & meditation, all of which can all help to relax your mind. Take care and I wish you the best with your anxiety!❤

I grew up in a tiny rural town in Australia with a lot of Italian migrants. I learned Italian throughout school and completely forgot about most things until I found your channel. We used to do our own ‘Carnival’ each year and make the beautiful masks, make Italian food and celebrate the festival. Thank you for making this content, I’ve never been to Italy but it’s always played a big role in my heart ❤️ 🇮🇹
Same here but I lived in Griffith. I also went to Catholic school there so I had a lot of Italian peers and did Italian lessons. A lot of them were racist to me lol

I'm half Caribbean and we have our form of "carnival/caribana" and I never knew Italians had their own carnival. Our festivals usually have parades, and people in tons of feathery costumes with blaring music and cultural food stands as well. My family went to Canada to celebrate a couple years back but I missed out bc I was starting uni semester. It was interesting to see your country's version of carnival, it's very cool to see that people enjoy themselves and celebrate in different ways. Your mom is such a hustler and she looks like she really enjoys what she does. I loved your mask! (btw I love your content whether your in Italy or not) ❤️♥️❤️
We also have parades during carnival in Italy. In Venice they are very particular because they are on water and they cannot make the big wheeled sculptures, but in the rest of Italy they are very similar to Latin American carnival parades! In Europe the majority of the catholic areas celebrate carnival in some sort of way, even in the south of Germany and in France. I suggest you look up "Carnevale di Viareggio" it's the most famous carnival parade in Italy and it might remind you of some of your traditions! I like the fact that southern European and Latin American cultures are somewhat similar. It makes me feel connected to many people on the other side of the ocean. Have a nice day!

I totally agree and love Rosie's videos because they prove that there's SO much more to Italy than fashion like Gucci or Versace and tourist attractions, which are all nice, but I like exploring places I've never seen before or haven't heard much about. The different architecture, yummy food, Padova, and other things that she shares are what I enjoy so much!😊

I think people will always love to see your content. Weeks at your grandparents will never get old as it’s such an interesting culture to watch. Italy is such a beautiful and vast country with so many different landscapes. I don’t think anyone would ever get bored of watching you travel around Italy and eating! Also, your mums restaurants are very interesting to watch. I think you have a lot to offer.

It's inspiring to see you making these decisions for your future and the life you want. Your channel has a very nice balance of showing beauty in the mundane while also showing regular life. this is interesting bc in slovenia we have "pust" which is also a carnival holiday, we have our own traditions that vary from the different regions and kids usually dress up in costumes, we have parades, etc. the point of it is to wear costumes and scary masks so winter will get scared and "run away" and spring will begin. it also happens around the same time as carnival in italy so i wonder if its connected in some way considering italy is a neighbour country

Always happy when Rosie drops a new vlog! Hotel room was very nice. The light show was pretty cool. I had to cut out the caffeine to get a decent night sleep. Unisom has literally saved me! I fought it for 7 years and I realized how important sleep is to a human body so I take a quarter or a half of a tablet a few times a week and it’s wonderful to sleep through the night again ❤️good luck it’s a horrible thing to deal with. Mine came from menopause

Rosie you are so much fun to watch. Every video of yours is beautiful and entertaining. About your sleep trouble, I also have been experiencing sleep issues over the years. I noticed that what helpes me sleep is changing up my routine, like sometimes I sleep with the lights on all night, or I sleep in random places in random positions,like on top of the bed at the edge of it in embryonic position. I also eat little bit of food and something sweet,that seems to calm my racing heart beat down. So don't just go for a traditional routine.,switch it up, sometimes you can just lay down on the bed don't change your clothes, you can read of watch something until you start feeling sleepy. For all of us with sleep trouble doing unconventional things seems to work the best. Anyway I hope you are doing much better❤I send you lots off love and peaceful energy.
I study in Verona and my friend was visiting from Sicily for a week, so we decided to visit Venice as well. We found this cute old bakery and we just grabbed two pastries each. We were walking from the bakery (which was in a small street) towards a small plaza and we each were eating a pastry, then my friend started eating the second one while mine was secured in the bag. And the it happened. I kid you not, a seagull was on top a shop's tent in the corner and he was READY to snatch the frittella out of my friend's hand. They are soo used to people blissfully ignoring the danger that is hiding right around the corner ahaha

I use to have bad insomnia too, but ever since I did exposure therapy for PTSD it has gone away. Sometimes it psychological and other times it might just be exercise. I notice whenever I finish a hard days work on the farm, I sleep like an angel. Maybe do a fun little dance every afternoon to kick out some energy, go hiking, biking, or just for a walk. ❤

I love how carnivals can be different in every place. Here in Brazil the carnival is different in Rio, in the south side, and especially the northeast side

In Poland (as well as in Germany) we have something very similar (or even the same) to chiacchiere an its called faworki/chruściki. They are usually made in the time of Carnival and my grandma is a MASTER at maiking those!

First of all I absolutely love your Italian content because it's so calming and so simple. I love the simplicity. But I also love your day to day vlogs of cannada. Especially what I eat in a day, daily vlog etc. I love your asthetic so when you are in Canada you can try weekly vlog or something, you can combine two weeks and shoot clips and make a video. These videos would have your food, talking and asthetics too. Just some suggestions. We will support all your content.

I found your channel because one of your "what I eat in Italy" videos was recommended to me and let me tell you, the way you show a genuine side of life made me stay. It reminds me when I used to visit my great-grandmother up north (countryside in Portugal, where I live) and how slow our summer days were in her house when my siblings, cousins, and I were children.
