I have shared my plans too often and let others make me doubt myself. And I have too often included people in my life that just have no place there. As I have grown more confident in myself, I’ve been recognizing people that just don’t belong. I spend a lot more time alone but I feel stronger and willing to try new things. Once I wrote an article that was liked by 1200 people in 24 hours and I was asked if a company could include my story in a new hire orientation and in their safety classes. All good stuff. Then a woman I was friends with took my article and copied it and redlined it all up about the mistakes she found and I never wrote another again. I allowed her to have power over me. She was not my friend, she was there to make me doubt myself and create fear to move forward. I will try again. But will not tell anyone. ❤

I remember in the early days of short term rentals than when I shared my plans with my family, everyone said it was too risky and not to do it. Had I listened to them, I would not have created the rental "empire" I have today (ok four paid off units.) but I did it, and I am proud of my accomplishments. I think that is sort of the point. Do what is in your heart, do it to the best of your ability and reap the rewards (or consequences I suppose) but do it for you.
