im honestly gonna say that this channel is my favorite channel for learning because its so easy to have my guitar in hand and learn the lick while watching the video, you do it better than anyone else and you also understand the music too which i really appreciate
Really appreciate your videos. Not only are they really good and detailed, you're actually a pretty good guitarplayer as well. In my view, you should have much more views than you have.
Excellent lesson great teaching and easy to follow as always! I'd absolutely love to see Unchained, Runnin' With The Devil and maybe even Eruption. Especially the weird fast pull-off weird licks before he starts the famous tapping part. I never know if I'm doing it right and I kind of just improv something there🤷♂️anyways Keep Rockin'🤘everyone. Remember what Eddie said... "keep playin' man! Gotta keep playin'!"
Thanks Dude!! I'm really enjoying these and I'm been revisiting a lot of your older stuff again. Really appreciate all your work !! IS it me or does your guitar collection seem to be growing??? :)
Thanks Gary! I appreciate the nice words! Yeah, the last year I've made some additions that were long overdue. I have another one coming up very soon, that I'm really excited to share. Stayed tuned bro! :)
should i pull my fingers off the 5/5 to bend the 7 fret in solo, also what if i am new to tapping can i subsitute my learning of hammer on technique or should I just go at it slow.
how are you liking the new wolfgang? I am hearing some people having issues with their neck moving and others with saddle issues on their Floyd. I'm thinking of getting a new ivory special with the ebony adding block inlay decals and a killswitch. save some money
I'm loving it man. I have not had any such issues. I also have not tried the Specials or the Standards, so I can't speak with experience there. That said, I love the natural finish on the Special FM model. For the Specials with the ebony fingerboard, I like the ivory and the new orange. The orange is probably not for everyone, but there is something about it that I dig - probably because it reminds of an orange creamsicle LOL :)
Do you still own this guitar? I’ve been looking at the signature model but it looks like the neck may be spec’d a little different than the regular USA models. Can you compare the neck to your Suhr standard c slim neck? Just curious how much of a difference in feel between the two. Thanks!
i want to have a whammy bar that you can dive with and it doesnt go out of tune (floyd that goes up and down or just up for example), and I play 80's rock and metal such as Van Halen iron maiden guns n roses Randy Rhodas megadeth so on and so forth, mainly hard rock of the 80's. thanks for the help!!
Okay, if I had a $1200 budget and was looking for a guitar that was well suited for 80s rock, I would check out Ibanez Prestige or Ibanez Genesis RGs. The Prestiges might be out of your price range slightly, but sometimes you can get retailers to cut you a deal by calling them and asking what they can do price-wise (telling them you are shopping around). Those are made in Japan and excellent quality. Also, coming out of Japan from Ibanez are the Genesis remakes. They are remakes of the classic original Ibanez RGs that dominated the late 80s guitar market, and those are going for around $1000. For that price, you would also have a bit of money leftover so you could also pop in a new pickup in the bridge and make it an even hotter guitar. Here's another idea - I haven't announced it yet on my channel, but might next purchase is going to be a new Charvel DK24 (I hope to have it in the next few weeks). Those are going for between $900 and $1000 depending on the finish. Not quite on the same quality level of the Ibanez Prestige, but considering I just bought an Ibanez, I decided to go with something different. Those are just some ideas, hopefully it helps.

Another way to do the kill switch technique: grab the end of your chord and pull it out just enough to cut the signal and then jiggle it in and out.
amp settings for the solo?
Nice!
