The 2 most iconic WC3 players of all times on the same team. This is 2008 all over again, (MYM)Moon and (MYM)Grubby, the strongest and most legendary 2 Vs 2 duo ever. The nostalgia is too much for me. I can't handle it. You look at a team that has Fly and TH000 in it, and you say to yourself "it can't get any more legendary than this". But then, you look at the other team and you see Moon and Grubby in it, and you say to yourself "I stand corrected. Never mind." This series also shows the difference between a "merely" great player and a special player. Grubby is a special player. He shows in this series what made him such a legend. It was not his micro, which wasn't at the level of people like Happy, TH000 and Thorzain.(although still top=notch of course). It wasn't his macro, which although great wasn't as stellar as that of Moon and Infi. What makes Grubby the WC3 god that he is his extraordinary, one-in-a-billion tactical decision making under pressure. Grubby is at his absolute best when he's getting absolutely rekdt and needs to come back from a dire situation. Grubby's ability to make razor-sharp tactical decisions under pressure is the best that this game has ever seen. In fact, in the top #2-3 best in RTS ever, period. Right up there with Flash in SC1/ We saw this here in this series, when Grubby decided to sacrifice his last peon to have the food limit to revive his BM. Or how he asked for gold and instead of getting upgrade, he went for mass shams just to have more lockdown on opponents' heroes. In the series Vs Happy a couple years back, on game 2 Grubby realized he couldn't quite Happy's micro and that he was losing too many HH during engagements. So what did he do? Instead of spending gold on an extra clarity potion, he buys a speed scroll and splits his HH into two groups, and then pops his speed scroll to flank Happy from behind and kill his statues with his second group. Grubby is just stupidly tactically god-like under pressure. The other thing that impressed in this series is Grubby's freakish memory. I watched this on his stream, and he was telling Moon in Korean to expo and hit center using words that they used to communicate with each other back in 2008. Imagine 16 years latter Grubby talking to Moon like they are still in the 2000's on same team ass if not a single day had passed. (MYM)Moon, (MYM)Grubby, omg, the nostalgia is too strong for me!
Insane series man. I’ve watched ALOT of WC3 games in the last 20 or so years. This was one of the best matches of 2v2 I’ve ever seen. It’s hard to tell who’s the pros and who isn’t haha. Title should say One of the best matches of wc3 ever?? Top tier entertainment man. So glad to see Grubby and Moon playing again, you can tell Grubby has always looked up to Moon the way he talks about him.
I loved to see that Hippogryph rider in game 3, and that Peon in game 5 was MVP! Game 5 is without a doubt the most exciting and exhilarating game I think I've ever seen! The look on Neo and Grubby's faces really says it all!

Hard to contain my excitement when watching this match. The peon! what a noble sacrifice - to build a burrow and enable blade master. I will be honest - the moment I saw Grubby not skill bladestorm, i looked at the duration of the video. it felt like a pinnacle moment, but when i saw the retraining tome, the full mana BM, when NEO calls for bladestorm on the expo? I knew that was the wrong call. it was surreal game. how many of us was just watching the Blademaster, seeing if we also would choose the correct storm time? Neo had the call too - had to be against raiders! Big props to the TC raider lame and of course moon with the economic and dryad superiority. I really can’t fathom how many times moon has made the correct decision. This is why he is the 5th race.
Just watch it.. these 4 names need no introduction! Great casting by Neo as always, game 5 was indeed epic: classical sloppy LT game with many come backs.. I thought it was over numerous times, but it wasn't..
