Goes to show, you can have all the skill in the world, but if your judgement is poor you are still a hazard

A couple minutes in and I’m horrified that they’re going to let these drivers get even slightly close to real animals. They’ll kill them all!

“If two drivers arrive at a four-way stop at exactly the same time, who should be given the right of way?” I actually didn’t know this haha. I had to ask someone and look it up, lol.

I'm guessing that's cuz you guys don't have many roundabouts?
In the UK it's always give way to the right and we have so many roundabouts it's second nature.

@@chilli-iceolive-abode2447 - It is the same at four-way stops. This is entitlement and willful ignorance.

mammag I’m not sure how a lack of knowledge automatically equals entitlement, but sure. Next time you don’t know something yourself, you should try calling yourself willfully ignorant.

@@danikadestinikey7477 - Driving a car and not knowing traffic laws which are provided for you is choosing ignorance. You can fix it by learning.

mammag That’s assuming that I’m actually driving on the road right now. I’m not, and so I’m learning about it before I do. You don’t have to assume what my situation is and cast judgement upon me when you know nothing about me - you shouldn’t be trying to diagnose a situation that you can’t see.

Is anyone else learning to drive and terrified that they're going to be nominated to be on this show?

As a learner driver the important thing is that you're learning. You'll make mistakes and learn from them. The people on this show haven't learnt from their mistakes or in some cases just don't care.

@@mothergoose9383 Literally in my Driver's Ed and my written exam for my license, I was not taught nor asked that question. So part of it is ignorance, the other is a lack of education and evaluation

@@mothergoose9383 its not necessarily willful ignorance. sometimes its just a difference between locations. I used to live on the border of 2 states, WA and OR. In WA, U-Turns are legal except where marked. In OR, U-Turns are ILlegal except where marked. many WA drivers get ticketed doing something that is legal where they got their license. And as for this particular issue, the practical answer isn't even to give way to the right. Practically speaking, its actually give way to whomever goes first. better to be wrong and alive, then right and dead. also, like Chubby Bunny, it never came up in my exam or in my road test. its a matter of the government expecting people to continue to read the drivers handbook before and after getting the licence. this never happens, especially because you get your license and have no retests almost ever. and in most states, there are no retests without a cop actually requesting you get one. So for most, its actually not willfull ignorance. its a lack of good drivers education. (especially compared to europe where they hammer home that its a privilege to drive throughout the whole process)
