Me: starts thinking about Hakkinen
Connor Smith yea same :D
Connor Smith saammeeee
Yea
"Fantastic guys, not bad for a number 2 driver, cheers."
Seeing that 11 year old so excited and even knowing answers to so many of these questions make me happy!
Yeah, to be fair I’m eleven and got more questions right but great to see other kids taking an interest in stuff that has happened in the past not in the last 5 years.
A 7 year old was a good one in the 2019 Abu Dhabi
@@zenokada2278 same here
Guy in the blue Mercedes cap looks like Marc Marquez
lQuantumHD LOL I was literally thinking the same thing
And he got every question right
He looks like a cross between Marquez and James Toseland from BT Sport
That's him
i literally thought it was him

Sam .S Just edit your first comment instead of commenting separately lol
I dont remeber him.Was he in the distraction chalange?
4:40 "Some form of animal on the track"
Indeed, the animals name was "homo sapiens"^^
Even though he had a Irish racing license Eddie Irvine was classed as British meaning he was the last British Ferrari driver.
4:38 He is not wrong
yeah the guy was little more than a brute
You should ask these questions to the actual F1 drivers. They'd be difficult enough for them I think :D
Excludos just watch the grill the grid videos, exactly what you asking for.
@@Excludos did... Did you just respond to your own comment?
@@zrspangle Probably someone deleted their comment/user by the looks of it
Hahahaha
@GP2_Engine why are you talking to yourself?
Good to meet you for the first time Matt x
Alex Gillon hello there you must be new around here. I’ll give you an idea for a channel: make a channel and have an intro where you say hello everyone and stuff. And say it quickly. Hope you’ll be funny in a few years time.
@@DL-nn1ws he's on youtube since 2007🥴

You got Marc Marquez on 😂😂
Oh my god I was so shit at this 😂😂😂 great to participate though!
Donington hosted the 1993 European Grand Prix for anyone wanting to know
Ah ok, thanks. I'm sure I remember a race there because of Sennas epic first lap
Why did it used to be European grand prix? Did they not have the others or was it an extra
Hazshep24 it's because there was already one British grand Prix (probably Silverstone but I'm not sure) and there was a rule until recently I think where there could only be one race in the same country. This is why imola was the San Marino grand Prix despite being in Italy so they could have both imola and Monza. I think they have got rid of the rule as they are trying to bring loads of new American tracks but they may have found a work around like Calling it the north American grand Prix or the Florida grand Prix
Zebra Man I wish they was just call it the US GP East
dougiedoug3515 there were also years when the Nürburgring hosted the european GP and atleast in 2011 there has been a spanisch GP in Barcelona and a european GP at Valencia
6:00 Eddie Jordan? 😂
Please do this at every F1 event you guys go to, if you can and have time.
You guys are the best!
A lot of people said Donnington because Donnington hosted the European GP in 1993, the one that Senna absolutely dominated in the rain. A true masterclass of wet weather driving.
You should attend a grand prix, undercover, as a Mazepin super fan. The reactions would be priceless.
So Alex Gillon and Matt haver never met each other before it seems
Hahaa
I wonder where I've seen this Alex fellow before... 🤔🤔🤔
Hello everyone
The last British driver to ever raced for Ferrari was Eddie irvine in 1999
The last British driver to drive for Ferrari was Eddie Irvine and Nigel Mansell also won in 94’. Who wrote these questions?
Eddy Irvine drove for Ferrari (‘96-‘99)
after Mansell drove for Ferrari.. no?
Also one of Senna’s best lap was at Donington Park!!!
I know this comment is from a year ago, but the Donnington park race in 93 was a European GP.
Nice acting, Matt.. Alex 😂😂
hi!great video keep up the good work!
Last British driver for Ferrari, Eddie Irvine
If irish counts, yes
Ah fuck off
"But at the end of the day, I'm Irish. I mean, I've got a British passport, but if you're from Ireland, north or south, you're Irish. And 'British' is. . . such a nondescript thing, isn't it?"
-Eddie
Billy Penketh Nah, he called himself Irish.
He is northern so he is British even if you are republic you are British
Sam Seaver if I call myself French it doesn't make it true
Loved Webber's radio at the end, just sealed the deal with the whole relationship haha
TheEpicCrumpet that was a balls of steel move from Mark Webber and respect on him for giving the team the middle finger via the radio
6:39 guys, always answers and like "was, wassnit?" or "it is, issinit?" hahahaa damn
The dad looks so proud of his son😂
Matt's still mad about the time Alex stole his doughnuts😂
Good quiz Matt!
Shame I missed yous, so wanted to take part in this.
I love how the father and son are wearing red bull and mercedes
Love these videos so interesting 😍😂😂
6:00 Eddie Jordan 😂
I was there at Silverstone but didn't see you. I would have done well on this quiz though
3:53 It's actually Eddie Irvine
You would be right if he was British
Ben Pannica Eddie was born is Northern Ireland therefore he is British
yeah exactly
@@danielmacleod7840 This isn't wrong, but it also isn't completely right either. Northern Ireland is part of The UK, but is not part of Great Britain (hence why the UK is formally called "The United Kingdom of Great Britain Northern Ireland"). Having said that, the term "British" is often colloquially used to describe all people from the UK. It just depends on whether you're being specific or general in your usage of the term "British".
Secular Stagflation as someone who identifies as Scottish I disagree with the term “British” as if you take someone from Scotland and someone from England they will be quite a sizeable cultural difference, but from experience when someone says “British” they usually mean someone from the United Kingdom not the island of Great Britain (I.e. team GB in the olympics consists of People from the whole of the UK, not just Britain)
Props to that dude wearing a Pacific Northwest Oregon t-shirt. LEGEND.
Great video!
You should call this "Grill the Crowd" instead, idk it just sound better for me!! But maybe that is just me! xD . But despite that still a great concept and video!! :D
Brendon Hartley BRITISH AND WON A RACE😂😂
That deere at 3:01 are a one beef’d up tractor.
3:44 there is just a guy with no shirt on 😂😂😂
2:02 griezmann lol
1999 was the last year UK had a Ferrari driver, Eddie Irvine.
He was from the UK but not British

Herbert was more notable in le mans than f1 because of his victory in the 787b in 1991 (to the fact it's the only rotary powered engine car to win and the 1st japanese manufacturer to win) and beating peugeot, jaguar and mercedes (winning against schumacher) on the final stretch hours of the race (no offense matt i know you love schumacher)
Can you do this in Hockenheim too?
6:00 EDDIE JORDAN LOL
I wish I saw this guy while I was at Silverstone
lol the last British driver in Ferrari was Irvine and the 1950 British GP wasn't the first ever F1 GP.
This was way tough than what u did in America cota.
To be honest, you can give the same answer for the past of almost every race track in the UK

I was quick this time!!!
Alex "Baku looks wank" Gillon
it should be that THE fastest lap of the race gets a single point. that would make things interesting
5:21 hes right the 1993 european grand prix?
The one and only gillonator
What circuit do you want to return to F1 in 2019?.
When was this filmed? I was there, I wanted to be on it! 😂😂
10 K obviously 🙄 I said I was there, and at woodlands (the campsite) where it was actually filmed, the question was when it was filmed 😂
What was the intro song?
Hello everyone and welcome ... to grill the grandstand!
I love you
3:45 Guy is from 2002...
Jesus christ I feel so old being from 1990.
Wasn't Eddie Irvine the last British driver to drive for Ferrari and not Nigel Mansell?
@Alex Evans northern ireland is a part of UK
@Alex Evans Yes i know ireland it's its own country but then why does wikipedia put him as british?
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1999_Formula_One_World_Championship
Looking back at this video, I swear there has been at least one race in I think 1993 where a race was held there. Was this not labelled as the British Grand Prix?
I think you mean the wet race in Donnington Park. It was called the European Grand Prix
03:17 🤣🤣🤣🤣
