Hi everyone. A few people have asked about connecting there pens to the Livescribe+ App on there Macs as it will not connect. I have not found an answer yet thou sending your Pencast and Notes to your phone and then via a cloud to your Mac is one work around and maybe buying a Bluetooth dongle and try connecting to the pen via that instead of the built in Bluetooth may help. If there are Bluetooth issues connecting from the echo2 pen to the Livescribe+ App on your Macbook and you have the answer to fix the issue then share it with other users by leaving a post on this channel. Another helpful tutorial. But you skipped over setting up connection by Bluetooth. You already had the connection working in your video. I have been connecting to the app using the cable but saw your Windows video showing live connection to the app using Bluetooth. If I have the Mac app open and the pen not connected by the cable, it cannot connect by Bluetooth. I have connected the Echo2 to my MacBook (running the latest OS) using Bluetooth but after a few second it says "Not connected". I've deleted the pairing and tried several times but to no avail. The Bluetooth works with my iPad. I wondered if the problem was that the pen was Bluetoothed to the iPad and wouldn't Bluetooth to the MacBook at the same time. But the iPad says the pen isn't connected. The app is open but not active. I've looked over the Livescribe site but it's support is pretty useless. I haven't gone to their support yet since I thought you might know. Thanks.
I accidently deleted that out of post editing my video. Stupid me. i will have to create the Bluetooth connection clip and edit it back in. Cheers Buddy.

Beautiful demo, great job. I just ordered mine. Been using this product since the first version.
The early pens had lcd issues but that looks like it has been eradicated.

Can I use my original Echo pen notebook with the relaunched Echo 2? I have a LOT of them, and would like to use them. The system appears identical
