    This is a great mod, I have had my skids off for a few months for all the off-season projects I am working through thanks to doing something similar. Having to put it on and off every few weekends would have driven me crazy.

    I have considered doing this same mod. Seems like the best option to lifting the T case and not having vibration from an aftermarket transmission mount. Thanks for posting

    Great video! I did the dodge 5.2 swap with the 44re trans and dodge 231 tcase. I surprisingly have a lot of room to do this. The dodge tcase is clocked down more than the tj which helps with the front drive line but could possibly be clocked up to make even more room to drop the angle down some.

    Great video. I noticed you have a good angle on the rear diff/axel. What did you do to achieve the angle? Thanks, Bill

      Adjustable control arms. By adding the crossmember, I was able to lower the transfer case output shaft without lowering my raised belly skid. That allowed me to adjust the control arms to get a better pinion angle. It's all part of the process of building these things!

    What's the details on your skid plate? Aluminum or steel and how thick?
