I have to fly on one of these in 3 weeks from Brownsville,
TX to DFW as a connecting flight from DFW to CA. I’ve never been on a plane
this small and it’s freaking me out. I have a terrible fear of flying. I just
want to get to DFW and back home to CA safe!!!

The CRJ-900 is a decent-sized plane. It's not like its smaller variant the CRJ-200 where you feel cramped.
