It is absolutely amazing seeing your brain at work!!! It's funny I was actually thinking, is she going to take a picture? That was such a great idea to watch a TH-cam video about the eclipse, now I'm going to watch one too! I am going to Josh's mom's for the eclipse, she lives near the lake and gets a really amazing view!
I love this card idea! It is so cute and sweet. I love the images you chose and your patterned paper is lovely. You always come up with the best cards, it is always something I look forward to and is always a bright spot in my day. I can't wait to see this all come together and am looking forward to Friday so much! I am super excited for the eclipse, I only wish I could have traveled for it because we only have 84% visibility where we are. We ended up having too many expenses we had to pay so couldn't budget it in. It's a real disappointment but it is what it is. I hope you enjoy watching it and that it will be amazing! Hello Christy. I really enjoy these process videos. It helps to remind me of the things I need to be conscious of in making my cards. This card looks like it’s going to be really cute. I do like the oval die as opposed to the circle. Now….onto the other BIG topic….Solar Eclipse (Total)…… u r very lucky to be in the direct path of totality. I’m in southern Indiana & we drove 2.5 hours to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to watch Totality there as we weren’t in that direct line. We didn’t need ro drive that far for totality, but NASA was going to be there & lots of activities. We drove up the day before & stayed in a hotel. They let off a few balloons to take measurements during the eclipse & we watched the launching of that. I’ve seen a solar eclipse before, but not totality. OMGosh it was truly magical!! Oh yeah, Purdue University sponsored the event & they had tons of stuff going on. I think there was about 100,000 ppl there!!! Rough estimates prior to event was 50,000. Honestly, Christy, @totality, I cried. I never thought I’d see something like that in my life. It was worth every bit to have been there to see it! I’m so glad u & ur family were able to witness it as well. 😉 Sending ((hugs)) 🥰💕😉❤
Wow, that sounds like an incredible experience! I totally understand the emotions. I felt a bit emotional myself. I’m not even sure if I can clearly state why… it was very cloudy for us, but we did keep catching glimpses of it through the clouds. And then during totality, there were thin clouds in front of it, but it was bright enough that we could still clearly see the ring. The 360° sunset was pretty cool too! All around where the sky met the earth. Definitely an experience worth seeing and one I won’t ever forget!🌚

We who are in Cleveland have crazy busy with the Women’s Basketball games and now we too have thousands here for the solar eclipse. All the schools are closed due to the time it will be visible.
