    That lady has a point but there is the science behind that. The bottom line is the urea component in the blood of the patients she sees. Inflammation occurs as the effect of urea takes place in the body mainly around the lower back and by extension the lower part of the body. Urea breaks down into uric acid and just like any other acid, acids tend to burn anything it touches including body cells. Body cells inflate or thicken their walls to protect themselves from the acid and this inflammation presses on the nerves that pass along where both huge blood vessels are found the arteries and veins supplying blood to the lower part of the body. It also happens that lower back has a narrow bone structure in the vertebrae which carries the entire weight of the upper body. Inflammation in itself tends to block the blood flow and as the heart keeps on pumping Normally with obstructed blood flow in the lower body it causes high blood pressure Normally measured on the upper arm. This should explain easily why blood pressure is taken from the arm and not legs.
    Carrying social burdens takes a toll in the body by allowing more urea levels in the blood. Urea becomes uric acid which burns or the feeling of pain.
    A good diet of alkaline foods and neutralizing alkaline does the trick.
    When you eat proteins in food, the body breaks them down into amino acids. Ammonia is produced from leftover amino acids, and it must be removed from the body. The liver produces several chemicals (enzymes) that change ammonia into a form called urea, which the body can remove in the urine.
    Should the kidney be unable to remove most of the urea, then it remains in the blood and becomes uric acid later due to bodily activity which includes over thinking ( depression ) and other related.
    A majority of the people will go for quick painkillers sold across the counter in chemists. Interesting most of the painkillers are acidic in nature. Just Google them, from diclofenac, paracetamol etc. This continues to increase the acidity in the body and further suppresses the kidney and finally kidney failure might occur leading to expensive dialysis treatment and or transplants.
    Therefore ;
    People should learn how to count their blessings one by one before they kill themselves with diseases. Even waking in the morning is a blessing. Many don't wake up. Count your blessings one by one. They are too many.

    I now understand, being a firstborn mom got sick after I finished my form four,I was there every moment with words I mean encouraging words,I remember once she was undergoing an operation she stayed in the theatre for 8 hours I did know that the doctors had an emergency to first attend to ,I stayed in the ward alone waiting for her and I kept looking at the people who were being carried back from the theatre either dead or alive,I was lucky to see those brought back alive,but the others were always covered and it was from afar,I was feeling a lot from inside and couldn't tell anyone,i was always there making sure mom stays positive but what about me i was also scared, mom healed from cancer, I'm understanding the whole scenerio later where and how did I get that strength even in her worse moments,I used to cry alone,mom would ask me ntapona kweli i would say bodly yes mom God is able,to every firstborn reading this you're amazing❤, thanks Lynn and carol for making us understand life in a better way❤

    I am a tired firstborn,😮 always wanted to fix everyones problems, been shouldering what is none of my business....
    I now know better.... Got treated for serious inflammation of breast for over 5 years and no doctor could tell what was wrong with me....ulcers,.... anxiety..... One religious teacher counselled me and asked me to work on my anger and relationship with my parents. It never made sense back then but over time, i became a different person ......smiled more, laughed more, went out more.... . Ile imebaki is over giving..... I am letting go....thank you Lynn for touching lives.

    Self-love!! We as first born we need to love ourselves. I'm the first born and a single mother of one too. I have been in gulf for over 10yrs and I'm having nothing. Whatever I start it stops in the middle only because I have to take care of my siblings. God! Remember us😢.
    NB. Carol if you can answer this just tell my why do I eat raw rice, what I'm I lacking in my body? Have tried to take all the vitamins but I find myself craving for it and I must eat it like everyday.
