I've recently got into groundhopping, nice to see more americans are jumping on board. I'm in Maine and am excited for Portland next season. I have a big family and don't have much chance to get away and see many professional games. So at this point am trying to get my son who is also a big fan to even high school or college games in the meantime until we have more time available to get to pro matches. Good luck getting more views, subscribers, and likes!
Thanks for the support friend! I’m excited for your matches to come as well! Hearts of Pine will be awesome! And you sound like a great family man too, that’s amazing that you can enjoy those experiences with your family 🙌🙌 I really appreciate your support!
Went away to Hartford in the USOC this season (NYCFC supporter so came up there to support NYCFC II), nice stadium honestly. Rained that night and we got the win.
Welcome to the world of groundhopping - looking forward to seeing more videos in the future. I visited Dillon Stadium a couple years ago - As part of the bucket list, I plan to visit all the professional grounds in the US and Canada. I plan to come to New England in 2025 and Portland (ME) HEarts of Pine is on the list. All the best!!!
Thanks for the reply! Sounds like you’ve enjoyed some great matches! I’m definitely excited for more ground-hoping. And the new Portland Hearts of Pine is super exciting!!
@@rolexdpracer It was a blast! And there may be more regarding Hartford Athletic on the way too ;) But oh yeah weather was wild and it was somehow still a good match 👏
just found your channel ,am, I love the content idea! unfortuanely do many US fans only show support for MLS and don't get enough love to the lower leagues and I love that there seems to be more people out there checking out the lower leagues than ever! The US has and COULD have so much more football culture if only it were allowed and supported to its full!
Thank you!! And agreed, it’s amazing to see lower level soccer in the US growing!! Someone said MLS made the best marketing decision being called “Major League Soccer” as it almost tricks people into forgetting about the pyramid ahaha
Thanks for the reply and support! That's dope to hear and I'd actually love to check you guys out. Detroit FC Is one fire this year and i've heard the atmosphere is great🔥🔥
Thanks for the support m8! They are definitely on my list. I’ve heard it’s a fantastic environment 🙌🙌 I saw them play away against Boston City FC this week and supporters even came to Boston it was awesome
I’ve heard they’re a blast! I’d love to ASAP!! Thanks for the support too. That’s something I love about the USL, is that it motivates me to visit some really underrated cities too ;)
If I had to guess, it would only be a little bit lower, maybe 2-2.5k. A lot of families took their kids home at halftime, and a lot of fans were tucked under tents and in the shops too
I'm a Brighton and Hove supporter first and foremost. But in U.S. Soccer, I support a bunch of teams but Connecticut is my home state so I have been following the Athletic. I have yet to return home to go see them, but eventually I will. Also support old clubs like the Tampa Bay Rowdies and Seattle Sounders. I'm 56 so it's nice to see football getting love. In in early 80s I watched UConn played in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Soccer tournament with an inch of ice on large portions of the pitch. It was 0 degrees. Back in the day UConn got the best attendance in the country. 5000 of us watched UConn lose against Alabama A &M, 1-nil. Anyway. Hopefully the Athletic build more fitting Accommodations. Also Connecticut United was announced recently and they will play NextPro MLS, out of Bridgeport soon. So many clubs to support....up the Albion!
Wow that’s amazing. I recently met someone involved with the Rowdies supporters too and they were awesome. Thank you for sharing! Hopefully you’ll enjoy what’s in store on the channel! ;)

Also, how was the weather when you were at Dillon Stadium? 🤣🙌
Thanks for checking out our club. The weather was rough for a home opener. I couldn't feel my legs by the end of the first half. 😂

Thanks for the support and that’s awesome to hear!! You may enjoy my Connecticut part 2 then, where Hartford lost 4-1 to your SAFC 😬
::: Yessahhh :::
Yesssirrr 🙌🤞
Interesting thing about this game is the announced attendance 2,969 (in a 5,500 capacity stadium). Any idea of a realistic estimate?
If I had to guess, it would only be a little bit lower, maybe 2-2.5k. A lot of families took their kids home at halftime, and a lot of fans were tucked under tents and in the shops too
You've gotta checkout Loucity
A goal of mine for sure!! The atmosphere looks amazing 👏 Appreciate the support! 🙌🙌
