Hearing Beth's pain and frustration and fear voiced was gut wrenching in all the right ways. Seeing how she's processing all these different situations while highlighting her dynamics with others is so funky to listen to /pos
I feel like there is a mirror situation where Genevieve is trying to sooth Knight at the same time.
Beth the rock of of the whole Glenwood saga. She is much stronger than she perceives. All are glad for her ma….. partner ‼️

hhg i love Beth but hearing how stressed she is bc of the fire makes me so sad. trauma is a *bitch* to deal with but i'm happy that Beautiful is there for her

I dont think trauma is talked about enough? Like yeah it comes back and what ever but that shit is scary it takes control of your body, it makes you resort to what you think will fix the problem and what you could have done better the last time. You can't think straight. You think it's all happening again but this time THIS TIME I can a fix this. Then your body stops it panics and repeats the cycle. Then you never trust anyone, this is gold this depicts what beth has gone through and what trauma does. Poor Beth had no one to talk to, I mean your worst nightmare basically happening again. Oh how I would die for beth... and Claire basically all of them.
Beth means so much to me, she's been a comfort I can turn to during many tough times. I love that we've seen such a fulfilling and beautiful relationship develop from trust and friendship, and Castle's talent for writing dialogue and characters as well as performing them is incredible.
God, hearing about the possible other outcomes if there really had been 4 casualties. It really came so close!!!! So glad Ranger and Claire saved each other!
You know what impressed me the most about Castle? The way every character feels different and unique, dealing with their own lives and traumas and they actually portrait their feelings in different ways, trauma is not an easy thing to write (trust me) and here she just showed it flawlessly! We see the aftermath of the attack and for me it's simply awesome, the feelings and the guilt (I think mostly is survivors guilt). All her emotions feel just so real and all I want is to hold her and tell her everything is gonna be alright ^^
I love this series and the whole enterconected story

In the moment, we do what we think is best. Only after the coals have gone cold do we reflect.
As peope, being able to see the whole picture when it's done being painted is both blessing and curse. A blessing in the sense that you get to look upon what has been crafted in its completed form. A masterpiece built by layers of decisions and actions brought by ones self. And a curse in seeing the flaws and imperfections left behind. A brushstroke to long, a color out of place, a layer not covered on a second pasd. We fret over small details knowing now that a better decision is obvious now but your piece is done. That picture is done whether you want it or not, flaws and all. Your paint and brushes taken away and the canvas framed and hung to admire forever more out of your reach.
Once hung all we can really do is hope to see it be admired by those we wish to be admired by.

Ah, sleep troubles. We love (to hate) them.
It was a scary experience, these things take a while to process the trauma. (Especially with survivor's guilt, aw honey)
It does matter - all of that matters so much, she did so much to help and was there for what Claire needed. Maybe it's not what she wanted or thought she needed to be there for, but she was *still there*.
Beth needs to talk to Claire. Same as Knight - she's putting guilt on herself that she doesn't deserve. She needs to tell Claire that she was scared for her. (And probably angry too, tbh)
And there it is.
You need to tell her, because even if she does put it on herself, she's going to need her best friend do what she'd do for you: remind her that it's not her fault. That it's not anyone's fault.
The trauma trio needs to get together and be honest. Let out the old guilt, the demons they're holding, be honest about the anger and the grief and the fear. The unknown, the hesitance and the lack of certainty is only going to continue to let things fester and grow worse.
