Comparing The 2021 Emily Ley Simplified Planner To The $14.99 At-A-Glance Simplified Planner

The 2021 Emily Ley Simplified Planner has been one of my favorite planners reviewed on this channel so far. I love the bright colors, the wire-o binding, the gorgeous Mohawk Via paper, and the elegant layout.
At $60, the 2021 Simplified Daily Planner is not for everyone. Thankfully, the Emily Ley At-A-Glance collection is sold at retailers like Target, Wal-Mart, and Staples for a fraction of the price.
In this video, I examine a 2021 Emily Ley Simplified Planner that I picked up at Target for $14.99 and compare it side-by-side with the Happy Floral 2021 Daily Simplified Planner that I reviewed several weeks ago. I compare the paper quality, examine the monthly tabs, discuss the difference in binding, and give my review on which planner could be right for you in 2021.

Thanks for this! I was debating if I wanted one of these planners over another one I like from Amazon, and then noticed there a cheaper one at target with spiral burning. Based on this I would actually prefer the target version over the premium one for reasons beyond cost alone!

That's ok- maybe you have other ways of staying organized! If you really want to use a planner, I would consider going to a store to look at one (rather than ordering online) to see what features you like best and if there is one that you think would be your best choice.
