I'm just a pet owner with an interest in becoming a super small ultramel-focused hobbiest, but I have a soft spot for sunsets. My wallet disagrees with me though 😂
Good video and take on the future of the project, I think you're about spot on! As the price comes down there will be many people getting into the project simply due to how much there still is to explore! We're only in the beginning stages of seeing the potential still and some of the combos are already showing so much potential! There are definitely combos that are going to age well and that alone will be enough to solidify the gene as a staple in the industry. 🌞😎
I made 3 visual desert ghost pos het sunsets last year and have been doing more DG sunset pairings this year. Hopefully it goes well. Also making dh ss ultramel and ss clowns.
I’ll never get into it but I don’t think anyone is stupid for getting into sunset. It’s just not my cup of tea and like almost all other recessives more especially ones that look good as adults like pieds, DG, etc. Keep up the good content guys!
Super chocolate sunset will guarantee look amazing. I wonder what sunset dreamcicle will look like. I think the orange needs to be embraced with the dark and desert ghost. If you get patterns like chocolate Mojave or redstripe it will stretch those pattern gaps and leave soo much room for colors like yellowbelly. Sunset will continue to amaze us year after year
For me, the most exciting aspect of the Sunset gene is how it already combos and how it is likely to combo with an endless number of other genes and gene combos to make animals that should be both beautiful and unique. It also appears that a lot of smart people already see the same thing. Just look at SS Ultramel and SS Hypo and imagine everything that could be mixed into that. I see a SS Ultra Pied Enchi Bang in my future 🙂

I was moreso poking fun at everyone having such heated debates over Sunset.... I will have one but it will be a Hypo Sunset...and I'll be happy... I didn't know much about it but you know I don't miss a chance to rib my friends!

Now its way overhyped. When Barczyk first introduced it its was worth the hype. But the banana hurricane Pompeii and hurricane Pompeii r the best snakes I have seen all yr including sunset combos on that list

AEP is about to reveal the first DG sunset combos, and Justin is working on some crazy stuff with the project, trust me when I say anyone already in it when those 2 start showing the possibilities of this gene will reap the benefits!

Problem with the sunset project is that it is visually so dominant that a lot of the sunset combos look alike.
