    I'm not gonna lie, this is the first time I've ever grown my hair out longer than like 5-6 inches and you've been such a help. It's especially hard in the in-between stages between shorter and longer hair where no matter what you do it still looks goofy. You're a great recourse for confidence boosting and getting acquainted with certain hair products for the first time. Thank you!

    ***** I've been working on my diet as well trying to improve it. I've cut out red meats as a start as a long term goal to minimize my risk of colon cancer. I gotta step up my workout routine though.

      Abhishek Tadikonda ......meat is definitely linked to all sorts of health conditions, notably Cancers, obesity and heart disease.
      Red meat is also more acidic than white meat and as you can imagine too much acidic food puts your body out of balance.....probably not a good thing.

It was the first time I've seen a guy do a hair tutorial and it's kind of hilarious how different it was, but seems you know your market. I've recently started using hair mousse, I prefer it to wax because it doesn't make my hair hard and crispy. It just leaves it with a little volume without it looking like you've got anything in your hair.

    • @Beardbrand
      @Beardbrand  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Christian Van-Ristell I've heard that mousse is making a big comeback. I've found that applying stuff while wet then working it dry has prevented any type of "product" type of feel. Different stuff has different strengths (but that's pretty obvious).

    I've been growing my hair out for 2 years now, because I liked to full man bun. But honestly, the style gets boring after a while. I might cut my hair to your length so I can try this style. I don't think this style would work well with the length it is at now. It looks amazing on you! I'm planning on going short again anyways, to instead of going from long to short, I'll try this 'inbetween' step :)

    Volts (or potential difference) comes from the mains supply of electricity. The wattage is the power output of the device, the rate it transfers electrical energy into other forms of energy, in this case thermal energy and kinetic energy as well as wasted sound.

    Hey I have this kind of hairstyle but a little more fluffy. I don't know what to do with it because when I lean forward or tilt my head forward it all goes in my face. (My hair is at my lips right now for length) So I put StyleSexyHair Hard Up gel in it and it works ok. But when I'm in class and girls are playing with my hair I can't have that gel in it because you can't even run your hand through it. So what should I do to get it to stay and slick back but also so anyone can run their hands through my hair. Also my hair will not stay on its own and it's very thick.

    • @Beardbrand
      @Beardbrand  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can use Sea Salt Spray and a blow dryer to get it to hold and have that beach look. People will be able to play with your hair no problem. You can also use our Styling Balm (it's a medium hold). It'll hold your hair where you want it to be, and it's easy to run your fingers through your hair with it in.

    please help! my hair is in the awkward stage. I push it back and put gel in it for the brushed back look, but it is way too poofy on top since it is not long enough to put in a bun, what should i do?!

    • @bYeonios
      @bYeonios 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      xbrian2461x Hairspray... It will save you! I use a bit of hairspray when my hair is still damp, comb/brush it (blow dry if you want to straighten a bit as well).
      Many options from here after: gel (will give you firm hold, won't be able to run your hair through and will feel dry), texturising gum (bit of the messy/oily look), wax or clay (personally I don't use them) etc.
      Finally, comb/brush to make the style you want and add some more hairspray.

    • @Beardbrand
      @Beardbrand  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      xbrian2461x Ya, you might have some luck with a clay product that gives a very textured, high hold, and matte look. I always recommend drying the hair with a blow dryer to get it to be in the final spot as it drys. That will be a different look than what Nikolas recommends. It all depends on what style you are going for.

      Beardbrand Absolutely!! My hair is in the awkward phase right now where it's not "short," but it's not long enough to hang down to my neck, so I have a lot of trouble controlling it, especially on humid days. I want to get to your length so there's more to work with, as you mentioned :)

    I ordered Claymation and Modify Pomade from HDF recently. The clay was out of stock so they sent me the MP and a sample of scheme cream, quicksand, hybridized wax, and sponge wax, a week later the claymation finally arrived. Totalling 6.
    Really good stuff and fun to try out the different products and what styles they can be used for. It's far better quality stuff than anything I've ever used before.
    Also, still enjoying the the tea tree oil and wax. It's really pulled my shit together.
    Thanks Eric-keep posting.
    Dave.

      Matthew Urso You don't need Hanz de Fuko. You'll see alot of videos on TH-cam about it, but that's only because Hanz de Fuko pays people to say nice things about them. Their products are mediocre, at best.
