Rainbow Layered Stencil Card

- Tonight, I shared this fun layered stencil card using a rainbow of colors and the Flowering Vine Layering Stencil Set! I was going to do the eclipse technique however, once we all saw how graphic and vibrant the greeting looked cut out against the colorful backdrop, we decided together to just leave it the way it was. Now, I can use those letters for another card! But we did test out the look if you want to see it. I also shared a little scary story about something that happened to me at the end of my class at Create and I'll keep you posted on the outcome! Thanks so much for joining us, and if you're watching the replay, thanks for stopping by!

THE DAD JOKE RESIST IS GREAT!!! My Hubby understood.
I, for one, miss having Tom "noodling around" on the guitar in the background. How about if he wrote and recorded an original instrumental piece to be Gina's theme music. That would get the YT police off your back...maybe! 😉
Whatever it takes, Tom’s music is a vital part of the experience.
The intro is Tom playing! :)
OMG...love the Dad joke! And the card!
Love this card my husband and son play the guitar so I am one who love to hear the
Music. My son is also blind so when I make cards any of the things that he can feel is a thumbs up!
Love the Gina & Tom Team… your card was a lot of work but either way, with or without the
eclipse = BEAUTIFUL 👍
I miss the guitar music!
I love the stencil set! ❤
lol again🤣Tweezers for your chin hairs! I love the graphic look. Thanks so much.
Very pretty card. Thanks for your time. Hope your eye is healthy.😊
I’m blown away from this whole kit! Every item is so great. This is the first time I’ve been able to take advantage of these and it didn’t disappoint ❤️. Thanks for the ideas on how to use these all. Looking forward to many more 🌺💐
I laughed out loud when Tom said, “We weren’t much fun, were we?” Awesome card!
I don't talk very much on the lives, but I always watch...even if it's after!!
HOLY MOLY I love the new intro by Tom (because you said it was him) Having a hubby that is a musician is the ultimate partner!!! Tom I love it :)
I love how your card turned out! (And how scary to have to go to the ER during Create! I hope your appt with the specialist goes well. Sending love)
I prefer the Tom intro! Great card kit!
Tom did great!
I also miss Tom’s music. Brilliant idea for Tom to write his own tunes. That would be great.
Yay, I saw the end. I had to leave the live one to go prepare dinner for the hubby and the doggy boy. I love your tutorials, you make beautiful cards indeed.
Good luck on your eye appointment. Love the card!
Watching late! I love the way it looks eclipsed!!!! It's such a beautiful technique and they should have let you do it your way!!! We know you love black and the contrast is beautiful, but I love how the eclipsé technique is so different! It looks almost like a ghost technique! Very cool! But you're so nice and are always tuned in to what your viewers want. Bless your heart!
The finished card is so pretty. I really liked the colors and that touch of bling is lovely. Thank you for sharing.
I loved the class you and Jennifer did at Create. The event was fantastic and the makes were spectacular. I had a great time! ❤️
I'm watching there replay, Gina; I like the letters both ways... black and the raised color. The black accentuates the letters more, but the raised is beautiful too. I was wondering what it would look like if you took the raised letters and used a black permanent marker/pen to go around the outsides of each letter... that might be a nice technique too. I hope that. makes sense. (If I do that myself one day, I'll send you a picture.)
OMGosh... as soon as I finished typing, which is 13 hours later, I continue to watch and you mentioned it in your video... LOL. Great minds work alike I guess... LOL.
Watching replay, love the vibrant colors. So pretty.
Great Card 😊
Always add some crystals Gina !!! Bling it up with DISCO BALL !!! Card turned out awesome !!!
Catching the replay!
Yay super excited that my bundles arrived today AND the Rina K electro pop full set. Can’t wait to play this evening!
My husband highly recommends Bascom Palmer in Miami for anything related to your eyes. We use to fly from Fairbanks, AK to Miami for his eye appointments.
I am soooo sorry I missed tonite TH-cam !!! I was so excited to see you guys after create !!! Well I will tune in tomorrow for your chat with Jennifer !!
Love the “flappy” technique!!
Definitely liked the black letters more .. the pop !!
Tom's card was gorgeous! 😻😻😻😻
Love it Gina hope your eye gets better
Nice Music!
Leave it plain. It is so elegant!😊
Beautiful color combination, I love it.
It’s too bad more stuff isn’t made in the USA
You two were great!
You could layer the letters with fun foam as well
I missed the live, but what if you layered the letters onto 3 layers of black cardstock letters instead of white? Maybe that would give them elevation and visibility.
Hi Gina & Tom, love your videos. I feel I must ask, what do you do with the brown sheets you use under your project? While I understand it gives you a good background to show your project off, I have not seen you use it for anything else. Most craft TH-camrs use there craft mat to work on. That way there no waste! As I’m a bit of an eco-warrior and I hate waste.
P.S. nice to see you both back bright and sunny after your weekend away at Create. It’s a wonder Tom hasn’t got RSA after all that cutting! 😅 when I used to do crafting weekends I needed to take time to recuperate! 😅❤ love Tracey from Cornwall 🇬🇧
I’m on replay, that’s what happened to me…flouresent lights trigger, vortex ink, in your eyes. With age! I ended up with surgery. Take retina specialist recommended vitamins. This solar flares! Praying 🙏for you sweetie!
Praying for your eye issue!
Yes, I had a detached retna in 2014 , l was lucky only lost 40 % of my vision , it was weird when it happened.
Also, I hope you dont mind but i want to make a big sign above my desk, reading Create-trium
Praying that there is nothing serious with your eye…❤️🙏🏻
That’s what I do along with either just stencil single flowers that I know I don’t have paper for.
Along with Netflix like Mindy, have watched 57 years of sports sharing…lol!
Praying that your eye is o.k.
Could have used you template trick for cutting your eclipse.
What is the best type ink for blending, as a background, pigment or dye?
I prefer dye ink because it dries so quickly. :)
Black 58:42
Hope your eye gets better.
