Can't wait to watch your travel videos! Your description of the Korean Airlines flight attendants brought back memories of my own experiences with different airlines and how different the uniforms were. My 1st ever flight was a long haul one when emigrating from the Netherlands to Australia (1976, aged 9) with KLM taking us from Amsterdam to Singapore. The KLM uniforms, nothing particularly noteworthy until the very sharp contrast with the very much smaller (slimmer) beautifully groomed ladies on the Singapore Airlines stretch to Sydney. Their uniforms, the colours and print, the style so elegant, I was in awe watching them manoeuvre effortlessly along the narrow aisles. That experience had me thinking I too wanted to be a flight attendant or "Air Hostess" as they were called then, for many years after..Subsequent travel on same destinations I was also impressed by the service and staff on Quantas airlines but to this day nothing has surpassed Singapore Airlines, for me anyway.. My only experience flying an American airline was return flight Amsterdam-San Antonio via Houston on Delta (1991) and it was the worst experience, yes worse than Ryan Air lol ... Anyway, I'm wishing you a comfortable and safe flight to Bangkok and look forward to you professing your love for a stranger on the big (air-conditioned) wheel while wearing colourful "Chantal hat" ! 😂😹 Hahahahaha! Nope,I haven't forgotten!! 😁 Show Chinny how it's done!!! 😘
Walking up stairs to get on an airplane.. whew last time I did that was in the service commercially back in the 70's and early 80's. I always try to fly tired on a long flight to help minimize jet lag. Can't wait for your trip videos.. and yes I thought the editing wasn't very good in this video, would have also thought she would have been a little more used to the heat by the end of the trip.. great reaction
Haha and the fact that she lives in Kuwait…lol so heat isn’t foreign to her. Ahhh Hawaii (not HNL) is where I’ve done stairs the most and some other international destinations. We have to get you out more! Im excited to share my version of Thailand, hopefully I can do a bit better job at showing everyone around. We will see! Also- look for an email from be by the end of the week.
Your comment reminded me of my first ever plane travel weeny family emigrated to Australia in 1976 and experienced the old airport in Singapore before the ultra-modern read: AIR-CONDITIONED and climate controlled tunnels directly from the plane to the gate. I remember being scared that first time coming down the stairs off the plane and even the night time heat and humidity was overwhelming. The chaos while being rushed onto smelly crowded bus like vehicles like sardines and raced to the mostly wooden, barely waterproof airport and panic on my mother's face knowing we had limited time to find the correct gate and bus to get on flight to Sydney.I'll never forget the relief on her face when that "No-smoking" light went off in the cabin, safely on that plane..💜 The contrast to the new modern Singapore airport about 1.5 yrs later could not have been greater, it was stunning !
