The Egyptian Gods in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel are so much fun. Slifer The Sky Dragon gets some love today, as I try to shutdown my opponents from being able to summon anything. This deck obviously isn't perfect, but it's a good time. Nothing like taking an Egyptian God Slifer deck into a sweaty realm of online ranked duels. Hope you enjoy! Not every deck can be a good deck and Egyptian gods are all old as hell new cards = new power creep I didnt mind the addition of syncros as they were pretty cool but everything after that for new players is like 😢😢

Ikr. They’re literally the first series’ final boss cards
I used to believe that they were just trying it to make the best animations in the entire game and were working on them but after seeing that they still don't have an animation even after the update which introduced a lot more animations I'm losing hope.
Fr like the fusion monster thats a copy of obelisk has an animation before them

It’s always good to remind some duelist who didn’t start the game when it first came out what was truly terrifying back in the day. And with a good deck the gods can still be terrifying today
I think people genuinely forget about Slifer's attack reduction effect
I know I did for the longest, also in the anime atleast it's usually used against him. Shit, the only reason yugi even won his last duel was because of slifer

Yeah facts but isn’t that effect triggered when an opponent monster is in attack mode ? The game should automatically reduce it

That ending duel was pretty sick. It was a whole other level of genius. Facing a guy using an underrated deck while making him face one of the 3 Egyptian gods is pretty sick.

Being someone who loves the gods, I'd love to make your 3 God decks but I do not know the game enough to know the cards names just by the art. Could you do a video or put up a list of the deck profiles so I can try them?
I think they are better off being in seperate deck

Edit: you can do a tutorial for the extra deck types in solo mode to better understand them, I highly recommend doing them if you want to understand links and pendulums

That combo at the end was awesome, really like seeing the Egyptian Gods being able to go toe to toe with some of the crazy modern decks. Soul Crossing and Thunder Force Attack are great for clearing your opponent’s board.

@@tinktink360 dragon link. Took me a long time to kinda get the hang of the deck since it's new to me and ppl said that the deck is pretty good but they also said it's not a ez deck to use. I had a great platinum match today where I misplayed the first turn but one turned killed my opponent in my next turn.
That last match was like a last match of a tournament because of dions talking 😂
I always loved slifer and now I'm most definitely going to be adding some of these cards to the deck

Aaah bro!! You are too good! Great video! Great play - I tried creating a DIVINE deck but just couldn't get to use Slifer or the other two, I gave up - but after this... I'm going back there, thank you for the laughs man lol.
Fun fact: Some recent support came out for the Poker Knights (Kings Knight + Queens Knight + Jack's Knight) that also included a card called "Thunderspeed Summon" which makes it so the Poker Knights can act as a deck engine for Slifer.
Fun Fact: It's a super fun deck to play.

@@Meiji556 Teamsamurai made a deck profile for it. With some slight tweaks, it can be pretty good. My knight ratio is 3 Queens, 3 Kings, 2 Jacks.
I tried 2:2:2, but my Knights tended to end up in the grave too quickly.
Also, instead of 3 pot of prosperity, I run 2 pot of avarice.
Also, consider running Idaten The Conqueror Star in the extra deck.
@@Meiji556 Also, Poker Knights can make Ra and Slifer work, but in a competitive setting and especially Master Duel, you'd rarely want to summon the gods. I've won way more games with Utopia and link monsters tbh.

No, he really didn't, Full armor should never be played the way it was, he literally helped him get a slifer in his hand. As a galaxy player I know full well that deck was capable of OTK'ing SeeReax in that turn, and he failed hard. Kudos to SeeReax though he played the duel well.

Pretty sure when he summoned galaxy eyes cipher dragon he could’ve activated it’s effect and take control of slifer which then becomes galaxy eyes cipher dragon and then overlay it for a galaxy eyes cipher xyz monster

I mean the anime isn’t necessary to understand the card game if I’m being real. Most cards in the original anime are either banned, in the irl game, or used incorrectly 🤣 but the anime can give a great foundation of each deck.
It’s a real interesting game either way. When you can try and give it a go you’ll be surprised at how easy it is to understand, it all just looks complex.
So basically Seereax is just descending farther and farther into the hole of becoming Yugi Moto and the king of games

I wish all the Egyptian gods have this much support or even just their best support cards from Master Duel in Duel Links. Like my Egyptian gods don't be feeling like the gods they are. But crazy cooks in this game SeeReax this is why I subbed.

that last duel was really clean! I never played duel links but i did play on dueling nexus. I started playing galaxy eyes four years ago and when master duel came out and i made my exact galaxy eyes deck i was shocked at how well it played. i know this vid is about slifer but mad respect for the galaxy eyes guy he was a real one!

I LOVE Photon in duel links but I sadly haven't come across any Photon cards in Master duel. But yeah, after playing hieratic gaia for a while I abandoned that and focussed on photon as my main deck... never got that Photon vanisher or neo galaxy eyes but I have most other cards and the character on level 30!
