I did something 24,000 damage because I got Sigma's attack to 3,500, doubled it, then attacked twice, doubling battle damage from battles with him. My friends were... Disgusted.

In terms of deck building it’s great to look up list when you don’t know what deck does. Because I have a good grasp of most decks I know what’s a good thing to add. But sometimes deck list help you find the most optimal cards to use lol. For example I’m looking to build a Vampire deck but I don’t really know what’s the best to add for a deck like because not many people run it.
Yeah I'm trying to refine my Synchron Deck so I've been looking for staples. I can't get Junk Speeder for some reason so I'm running a Red Dragon Archfiend but I've been peaking at lists to get an idea of how to make my old Morphtronic Red Nova deck from Devpro work here.

I think the same way involving decks, I like making my own decks. When you make a deck yourself, it feels more personal. Plus it's insanely satisfying when you win with your own self-made deck.
My problem is that I’m great at dueling, but just so bad at knowing what to put in a deck that won’t get absolutely stomped, and have no time to research all the cards to figure it out. So I like checking a deck list for an archetype I think is cool, play test it in solo, and then customize it to make it my own
I get zero satisfaction from creating decks. In fact, I hate doing it. I don't have the time nor the inclination to go through playtesting phases and putting together a deck. You do know what I do find fun? Winning. I don't give two shits whats in the deck, as long as it is forward moving and has a decent win ratio. This just in, fun is subjective.
Loved the buster blader card back then, it was my favorite card and wanted to build a deck but didn't really have the cards for it so seeing it being a full on archetype now is just great! I also love master duel because it lets me build the decks I couldn't even manage to build irl, like lightsworns etc.
Yes and don't let people scam you if you're plan to buy the core shouldn't cost more than 25 price (I've seen many prices listed and they go over that)
Seereax's mentality for Yugioh and the deck crafting is just so Awesome. This is definitely a game where you build with what you salvage and use what you like. I'm just gushing at this point, he was a lil bit inspirational is all I'm saying

I usually look at other decks but only as an outline of sorts. I use them to understand some basic stuff about the archetype/deck like how many monsters/spells/traps to use, which cards are needed/really good or not. After that, I manually edit the deck and make it more personalized.
I love your opinion on deck lists and I feel the same, a big part of the fun is building a deck from scratch and then seeing it get better and better the more you tune it to your play style and what you want it to be. You got my support! Love your voice and commentary Style btw.

Also a thing on building your own deck, it’s fun especially when you have a good idea of what the deck your making but if I’m making a Lirilusc(Bird Up Deck) I have no clue what cards should be used other than the staples and such…this isn’t the best example because it’s not all that for this deck but you guys get what I’m saying. A better example is Harpies for me or Utopia decks.

as a kid growing up the Blackwing Archetype has been my favourite and with Raidraptors being my second with its appearance in the anime and how they function; i was thinking about making a deck that is not only close to my heart but would be something you shouldn't underestimate. Deion continuing his streak of being dope, based, and superlit by constructing his own decks from scratch. Deck building, imo, is half or even more of the fun of Yugioh. The satisfaction of, for example, getting to use a trash card no one knows about because you foresaw that specific use for it is something you can never get if you just 100% copy-paste someone's decklist. Not to trash on anyone who _does_ copy-paste; more so to push anyone who does to add a little bit of their own spice to their decks. Especially you, John.

I don't either. It takes me a long time to build a deck, days even because I just get on after work and tinker a bit. But over time it gets better and it's a pretty proud feeling. I'm not shaming anyone for doing it, I just personally love crafting my own
As far as meme archtypes go I’m always suprised how competent buster blade is and how scary it can be when it gets going. Especially with Seereax’s Bower level it’s basically unstoppable

Why do people get so mad over NO DECKLIST 😢😢 😂😂😂. It’s no big deal, and wouldn’t you be happier when you win if it’s with a deck you built from the ground up??? If the answer is no then that’s pretty sad lol. I can tell you right now that his decklist is not optimal but it is an awesome archetype and The man is having fun. I’d rather see TH-camrs having fun matches than watch Link or Xyz FTKs. I only use Buster Blader decks ever since I was gifted Yugi Structure deck Vol.2 way back in early 2000’s.
@@Gogeta2501 so literally duel links. You can make at least 2 decks at the beginning of the game F2P and while it's not beginner-friendly if someone wants to play real Yugioh then they'll have to get over it. Also, duel links is literally known for how predatory and p2p it is.

I agree with the whole making the deck yourself kinda thing. I've always preferred creating my deck over copying someone elses, though I do take notes from other decks for cards I could use in the future. It makes the deck feel alot more special in my opinion and like Yami Yugi always says It's the "Heart of The Cards". I've more than done my few shares of "Destiny Draw".
When Dragoon came out. I knew it was time to finally put my deck building skills to the test to make a dark paladin deck. It quickly became the most powerful deck I owned even without the use of Dragoon. I took all copies of red eyes fusion and Predaplant anaconda out of the deck just to give my opponent some chances. The amount of cards that are not yet in this game truly destroy what my deck is. I’m fine with Dragoon being banned, but missing about 6 cards from a 40 card deck is actually a huge hit to major strategies I have 😂.
Soon as I heard your take on sharing decks I subbed. I completely agree the game would be way more fun if there was more variety. On that note , I finished the medals for the event and made a hilarious penguin deck to give people free dubs but I actually won some games 😂😂😂

Funny thing is Buster Blader was a meta deck until the Dragon Welp cards got banned in the TCG for being too good at being floodgates.

Why do people get so mad over NO DECKLIST 😢😢 😂😂😂. It’s no big deal, and wouldn’t you be happier when you win if it’s with a deck you built from the ground up??? If the answer is no then that’s pretty sad lol. I can tell you right now that his decklist is not optimal but it is an awesome archetype and The man is having fun. I’d rather see TH-camrs having fun matches than watch Link or Xyz FTKs. I only use Buster Blader decks ever since I was gifted Yugi Structure deck Vol.2 way back in early 2000’s.

I'm still kind of a noob in yugioh. Mostly casual and I like trying new things. And making custom decks is super fun even if they aren't perfect.

@@Gogeta2501 so literally duel links. You can make at least 2 decks at the beginning of the game F2P and while it's not beginner-friendly if someone wants to play real Yugioh then they'll have to get over it. Also, duel links is literally known for how predatory and p2p it is.
@@Gogeta2501 i’m a year late but that just sounds like a skill issue bro. Duel Links is literally jus baby mode Yu-Gi-Oh. Master Duel is way more complex and the decks are more interesting. Plus it’s pretty F2P friendly wym?? it’s so easy to get good decks without spending money.

Idk I’ve never understood copying someone’s entire deck lmao I understand inspiration but the game legit shows you cards that are related to the card or deck you wanna structure
I agree with the whole making the deck yourself kinda thing. I've always preferred creating my deck over copying someone elses, though I do take notes from other decks for cards I could use in the future. It makes the deck feel alot more special in my opinion and like Yami Yugi always says It's the "Heart of The Cards". I've more than done my few shares of "Destiny Draw".
Like and respect his phillosophy about building his own deck. I agree 100% with him. Great content.
Buster Blader was my favorite card until they introduced Dark Paladin.
When Dragoon came out. I knew it was time to finally put my deck building skills to the test to make a dark paladin deck. It quickly became the most powerful deck I owned even without the use of Dragoon. I took all copies of red eyes fusion and Predaplant anaconda out of the deck just to give my opponent some chances.
The amount of cards that are not yet in this game truly destroy what my deck is. I’m fine with Dragoon being banned, but missing about 6 cards from a 40 card deck is actually a huge hit to major strategies I have 😂.

Soon as I heard your take on sharing decks I subbed. I completely agree the game would be way more fun if there was more variety.
On that note , I finished the medals for the event and made a hilarious penguin deck to give people free dubs but I actually won some games 😂😂😂

Man I can't describe how fucking much I appreciate your take on this, just spitting facts, I used to hate on youtube and youtubers when I used to play duel links because running into the same deck 4 times in a row isn't fun nor normal, been playing master duel for the past week and dude i'm having fun, half the fun is in making your shit work somehow without relying on meta or super broken cards, just working with what you got

assault mode activate is one of my favorite archetypes, plus you get to run stardust dragon so the opponent doesn't have as much fun as you are

I sorta agree with your views on deck building however times have changed, using the internet as a resource when making decks because people want concise strategies or at least to know what cards are actively used in strategies and when it comes to vids like this people just like knowing what you're using completely to try to anticipate plays or stuff like that.
