(7 Apr 1984) GS CAS LEBANON: Aftermath Israeli bombing on 7.4.84 of a Palestinian
11048418 target overlooking Beirut. Israel says the airstrike destroyed
a hotel belonging to the Democratic Front for the Liberation
of Palestine. The DFLP claimed responsibility for the attack on
April 2 by gunmen on a crowded square in Jerusalem. Druze
militia and the Lebanese army continue battling for control
of strategic town of Souk el Gharb.
