The anime did a great job with the manga episodes. I would say the anime actually was better then the manga when it came to manga episodes because they added extra information and scenes that the manga didn’t explain. The anime’s biggest flaw is there filler/anime canon episodes. Those are just really bad. Like they’re not even interesting and that’s the reason why the anime is just doing so bad because about 75% of the anime is just filler/anime canon episodes. I felt like if Boruto was a seasonal anime (13 to 24 episodes per season), it would have probably been one of the best anime’s out there right now because there wouldn’t be filler/anime canon episodes. It would just straight up be manga episodes.

Like the whole Kawaki and himawari academy arc had so much potential but they just wasted it with Kawaki just doing stupid activities with his classmates for most of the arc. Like I actually skipped through the arc and just watched the important scenes. Like if a anime is making you do that then it means there’s something wrong and that issue should be fixed.
