Thanks I would like to add that when you are measuring low amperage, it is handy to loop the wire several times and then divide the reading by the number of loops. You can make your own 10 turn loop and put a male spade connector on one end and a female on the other. Some old cliparownd meters came with loops the you could plug in to the Wall outlet and plug you small appliance in to it. I hope this helps someone out.
