Ahhhh its my first video ever!! Who else likes to watch TH-cam vids all day long? I just cleaned my whole apartment to videos hehe. Hope you like it and that we can be art pals!!
I'd say my biggest advice about art style is just don't stress, enjoy what you do, practice, find little niches in your art that you really like and it will appear :)
Second (or third?) video I watch from your channel. Reading the comments....it looks that nobody answered your question during the video about ourselves. So, I'll be the first. I stopped drawing when I was a teenager. That time I was more into basketball. I've always been anxious...and when I was drawing I was anxious and felt that I wasn't good. I didn't took the time for improvement. No in my 40s, I'm trying to start studying again but with no pressure. I kind of like lettering and calligraphy too. I hope that helps me improve my creativity which it would be very helpful in my daily life as a motion designer. Oh, and about basketball...I'm starting to play around again after many years without playing. When you hit the 40s "you" start to think about what you like/love and you wanna do it while you're still young. At least, I feel that way. Thanks for the video! PS.: You live in Chicago! When I was a teenager, I loved watching Chicago Bulls playing with the duo Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen.
I’m lovin’ your energy and mad props to having many things that fill your cup. Gouache is fun but there is a teeny learning curve. Once you get past that, it’s a lovely medium. The key to layering gouache is to start with thinner layers and build up to thicker layers, kind of like you’d work layers of watercolor. If all else fails, there’s always a acryla gouache for those first layers. My headache with it was color mixing. I love color mixing but gouache looks very different wet than it looks dry.
What a cute and comforting video 🌸I watched your video where you worked on organizing your future art shop and honestly you're very inspiring. I feel kinda reassured to see that it's never too late to start working on your dreams and that it's possible :) Thank you! and I cant wait to see more content from you!!
Hiiiii! I’ve loved this video! You’re a natural. Loved watching your art come to life. Also so impressed with your ability to do art, your energy engineer job and dance! So cool.
gouache can be hard! im also in the process of learning how to use it. my best advice is using a little bit more water than what you're currently using. it helps the paint flow a bit better :)
Enjoyed your first video. I'm a crafter/painter in Richmond, Virginia. Retired so I have way too much time to fill, have to force myself to squeeze the mundane necessities in! I also have never totally finished a sketch book, but working on it. I always have too many projects in the works at the same time, so takes forever to finish em all!😅 Anyway, looking forward to following you. 😊
Converse sketch is so cute! Kind of looks like it's been drawn with coloured pencils. I've went to yt shorts after this video, got a bunch of nice tofu recipes, then realized why)
so happy that I stumbled upon this video/your channel! I worked on my own notebook while watching and loved the podcast/voiceover style too :) I'm also from the midwest so hi!!
hey! loved seeing you finish your sketchbook, im at rhe end of mine now and im trying so hard not to start a new one prematurely lmao. thanks for the motivation:))
I toooootally hear you about drawing ducks! It’s just everything! 😍 Love your channel, I just discovered it and have gone right back to the start of your journey so I’m not at all up to date with where you’re currently at but hope it’s going amazingly well and you’re getting lots of duck commissions 😂✨💕
Hi from fellow engineer, but im aviation one:) im 33, but im decided to change careers and now im studying motion design and animation, hoping one day work in studios like disney and pixar❤
Hey Gabi! :) I love your videos and am looking forward to seeing more from you! If you don't mind me asking: Why do you want art to be your main job if you have two jobs that you love and that surely give you more financial security than freelancing as an artist could ever give you? Especially since art is your outlet.
Ahhhh its my first video ever!! Who else likes to watch TH-cam vids all day long? I just cleaned my whole apartment to videos hehe. Hope you like it and that we can be art pals!!

Thanks for the tip! I am an acrylic painter usually so I definitely fear using a more watery consistency but am working on it haha :)

Lol I initially thought it was an orange 🍊 cat looking the other side and not a tiger facing us/ me😅😂
Hahaha I love that
Do you have an online shop?
No I don't, but I am hoping to set one up soon! :)
