Welcome to my year in review for 2023! Rather than linking all of the kits below, which would be an ordeal, I’ll try to link each of the companies I have completed a kit from. You can go check out kits from these companies and see if any of them are in stock. Some of the ones you saw here have been discontinued or are out of stock. thanks so much for sharing. I know exactly how you feel about creases. My first partial from DAC was badly creased when I took it out of the box, I tried everything to get the crease out, I left it under heavy boxes for a week, I tried Ironing the back, but no success. I didn't bother contacting them but it defiantly put me off partials from them.
me again ^_^ I'm working on that daylight puffygator kit at the moment, and i completely agree about the darker outline around the fluffy neck. I'm going to try altering it on mine so it blends nicer. ^_^

The Van Gogh you did for Summer with the masters is a legal kit. Anything from a certain year and before is public domain so it doesn't need a license
Correct! I still tend to lump them into the unlicensed category since I bought them from the same budget Amazon companies as the other unlicensed ones - now I try to source my artwork from places that only sell licensed artwork or don’t sell stolen artwork, but you are definitely correct. Old masters artwork is public domain and doesn’t require a license!

Whats so wrong woth squares? I love squares ,theyre my fave❤is rather do squares then rounds
I get stressed out with squares! And I don’t like the sound and energy required to click them in place. Rounds are my happy place!

That’s the question of the year! I’d be happy with 50. I don’t know if it will happen though - I’m going to try to knock out some of these massive squares I’ve got.

It's so funny to hear how very different our starter experiences were 😂
I myself started big! I went for a 60×70 rainbow dreamcatcher as my first ever kit, and single-placed the whole dang thing. Would not reccommend, but it was a trial by fire to see if I would enjoy the hobby at all 😅
The first DAC kit I got was Cat Bookshelf, at a whopping 87×70 cm, and since then I've been going strong on the larger, square diamond kits ❤
One of these days I totally should try a DAC round drill kit, but the squares are just so satisfying 🤩
I can’t imagine single placing something that big! Wow!!! I’m all about the small canvases!!!

Oh my word BREATHE! lol you were talking so fast my brain could not process it haha. at the end you slowed down was much easier to hear you. You have done alot of kits this year! hopefully you'll find some nice licenced or custom images of buddhas to do
Hahaha! I had so much to say and even talking fast it STILL took me nearly an hour and a half to get through it all!! I have a feeling I’ll slow down a bit this year - I’ve got a lot of big kits on the docket to work on and school will be picking up as well. I’m definitely hoping for some great licensed Buddhas this year too! Or I just get customs of photos I’ve taken!

Sorry about that! I had soooo much to say and knew if I talked at my normal speed, which I’ll admit is pretty fast, I’d have taken nearly two hours to do the video! If you need to, you can always click on the video settings and watch at a slower speed (.75x). I actually watch all TH-cam videos at 2x speed! Crazy, I know!
Wonderful collection that enjoyed seeing. I got some anxiety going however bc of your breathless rushed voice. I get that you had a lot to get in though, but please consider slowing down just a bit so it’s a more relaxed viewing.

Yes, I talked super fast in this video - you can easily click on the settings and slow the video down - I don’t normally go as fast as I did here. I have the opposite issue! Everyone else talks too slow in their videos, so I have to watch in 2x speed!
