to be honest... it's a bit challenging choice for second origami in my life
It truly is cuz you’ve skipper a lot of levels of origami
You’ll get the hang of it
Good Möring
Just go one step at a time, treat each fold as if it's the only step, and you will end up with the finished product
lmao 😆
Thank you for these clear instructions. I had fun folding it. And I painted a street art graffiti mural in London, based on this fantastic model.
Thank you Jo. The rabbit is not the first mural based on a model folded from your instructions. Hope you will find a moment sometime to check out the video and see how I turned the model into large scale graffiti murals.
@sevisevisss always open to receive new translations to languages that have not been translated yet
@Maloriar yes, that's it! I'll have to delete the english later, but it is easier to check if everything is ok this way
You're asking me to show where to fold exactly when there is no exactly where to fold. Not everything has a reference point, sometimes it's up to your skill/sensibility to make it nicely. This is one of the reasons of the high difficulty level on the video description.
There are tons of reference points. You could have seen them with a bit of editing. Not everyone has tiny perfect Asian hands.
@@odium3691 that comment was about steps without reference points. I can't edit and show a reference point that does not exists
@@odium3691 not very kind
back legs are a nightmare. Ended up making them look alike but didn't follow all the steps.
I totally lost him at "Shape the hind leg." :(
Make me wanna try !
I got lost there too
I used regular 15cm x 15cm paper and the small details at the end were a challenge but I managed to make them work! The ears where difficult to shape properly though. Thank you for the instructions, they helped a lot!
@GreiciHAlmeida seria a Tenman Ya?
Just finished it! The paper I used was a bit too thick for this, and it made a lot of the folds much more difficult than they were. I'm still fairly happy with how it turned out, though :)
Qualquer papel "normal" serve (papel dobradura, sulfite, etc)
@Boonwagon12 in person, not yet. I hope I can meet him some day, we live on the same city but I think he is in Japan now
You've done amazing work here. The crispness and expression in your folding really make this model come alive. I was able, with patience to complete the design but my folding needs much more practice. The instruction was very clear and I like that the diagramming in the top corner. Thank you for helping us non-Crease-Pattern-Masters how to make a great design.
A great video!
A beautiful finished model!
Superb, clear, precise instructions!
Now... Either Mr. Nakashima has magical super powers, or it's magical paper!
I don't know which one, but something's going on. I try to fold according to the instructions, and my folds, bends and seams never line up, or I get the paper so weak from folding it that it tears at some point during the process.
I dunno... maybe I'm using the wrong paper, or it's to thick to start with.
Either way, I love watching a Master Origamist "plying" his trade!
Thank You Mr. Nakashima for all that you do to teach us a very ancient art form!!!
@superkakashi96 que bom, fico muito feliz por isso!
I had it until the feet ironically
Thank you so much... it took me many rewinds but I finally made it all the way thru. ..and I have a little rabbit... You are so talented!!!
Thank you sooooooo much!!! I loved this video cuz I had to make a b-day present for my BFF, who love bunnies. This was really helpful and I think no one should have hit thumbs down.
Since I first started making origami 4 ago, I’ve been trying to fold this in many ocassions, but I could never get it right. This bunny has given me nightmares. I’ll try it now. Wish me luck!
this is a really nice model, ive never heard of Hsi-Min Tai before. the quality of your vids have gone up substantially too, i really like that you show the diagram of the step in the corner.
O-M-G-IT'S-A-DORALEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!! and i love how he puts a little diagram up on the topright.
I made it! It's GORGEOUS! Thanks, Jo!!!
Amazing video as always! And thank you for the diagram on the right- helped a lot 😀
Second try made me a sweet easter gift:) Thank you very much!
Just wanted to say your videos and models are the best, I really admire your work, I learned origami through your videos..!
Thank you and keep up the good work!
Excelente vídeo! O Detalhe do diagrama no cantinho do vídeio ficou 10!
Já agreguei aos meus favoritos!

*---* Wooow, Eres un genio!! Super detallado ese conejo
♥ Lo tengo que hacer un día!!
The most difficult origami I've ever made. Thanks!!
I know you said the difficulty is high, and it sure is. Obviously, you know what you're doing and you have a gift. But, this is basically an educational video. You're showing us how to make something. To provide a video with only visuals and no spoken words is difficult. It doesn't give us any cues, any predictions or understanding as to what the next step is. Food for thought. Otherwise, I like what you're doing. Wish I could be as good as you.
That was just BEAUTIFUL!! Now I've got to try it?!
Thanks! Made it. The legs were tricky but the frustration was definitely worth it :)
Not too hard to me though, but hard to think out and design it , i love this video , the rabbit is beauty and just like real.
What? что?
Tho Nguyen how bad your english grammar is!
p/s: pardon me i used to be childish
@@kannaaa3787 how rudelol
@@everythingawesome7671 dang im sorry about my past self, i was like 6 yo kids just learned new things and tryna give a comment using that
It is easy to make, but hard to get it exactly symmetrical.
Alvin Liu it takes a lot of practice

you are a perfect teacher and your videos are awesome :P
this was so fun to do! i added two eyes and a cute little nose to it afterward
I got lost. I need to work on my origami skills.
This video is the best origami rabbit tutorial! Thanks a lot for it😄😄😄
thank you!
tried with 12x12cm paper, and worked! It was easy(^-^)
why???????????????
Beautiful design! Thanks for the video. :)
My god your videos are done so well, but I have a L-O-N-G way to go and many failures ahead of me this day before I de-rust my beginner skills enough for this rabbit. It's so beautiful though and your videos are so easy to follow that although the craft is more difficult on this rabbit that the easier rabbit folds of some videos I feel like i'll get this rabbit before I manage the simpler one because the people teaching make it impossible to learn.
Here goes failure two... lol Thank you for all the work you put into your videos.
Ohh my God ! You are so smart !
French translation added right away, thx for the origami !
Jonakashima your amazing and unbelievable!!! Love your videos
I did it!! So proud!!
made it...perfect you are the best
I don´t understand how to make the hind-legs, but for the rest, it's a very cool rabbit :)

Thank you for your response. The paper in this video looks like some kind of "tissue foil" to me, and that is why I asked. Thanks again!
Awesome model and video! What kind of paper are you using here and where can I order it from?
Mine looks great! Thanks so much!
For all you guys who are searching for the paper he uses, The link is in the video description. : )
looks pretty easy, seems pretty easy, and probably is pretty easy.
patience is the first step into succeeding in origami :)
I finished it and it turned out great
I made it with really hard origami paper and it was a struggle to me because folding the paper was really hard and if I didnt do it right it would have ended ripping all over it
:)
Is very easy And very beatiful!!!!
which paper did you use in the thumbnail?
Good guide, need more practice to get it symmetrical though!
IT'S SO ADORABLE! :3
Very easy! P.S:Detail, i am brazilian
I am brazilian too and I did it!
I used too small paper. Next time it will be bigger. Awesome origami. Thx!

Oi!

Me : follow every step
10 minutes later
End of the video
Me: it looks amazing
It is a paper ball
This should be intermediate jo nakashima:)
Eres genial ;w; ♥
Just made it, looks fantastic. Thanks for the tutorial, maybe i'll translate the captions to danish soon :)
Where did you buy Copper Tissue Foil 20cm x 20cm? On origami-shop I saw only 30cm x 30cm and 60cm x 60cm.
I do!! Saludos desde México,
Gah... gonna need bigger/finer paper to get those tricky back legs right >__>
Martin Campbell true, i can't do this with my notebook pages haha
Try printer paper lmao
Thanks I will trie to make this origami 🥰
