The dragon in the scene on the picture, was legitimately and unironically, weighing its fucking options. The fire breathing, flying, giant lizard with scales you forge armor out of, was thinking if its smart to try fighting the human with an axe in front of it.
one of the things i love about frieren's power system is that, yes the mages are powerful and can do some wild shit, but melee fighters seem just as powerful, if not more so at times. reminds me a lot of Mushoku Tensei, where it actually feels like the two are balanced decently
@@Oakland510Kraft is called a hero. Given what we learn of the last people called heroes (Himmel and Hero of the South), combined with his implied age, there’s a possibility that Kraft could defeat even Frieren.
@@nathanho8878 yeah I wonder if he’s stronger than every mage/person except for Serie. Regarding Serie I think he’s even older than her considering his face/body and his very wise mature mentality. It would be a great match up to see the highest level of warrior v highest level of mage

I don't know if you guys understand the full weight of Stark's character, but since you're here, I can perhaps shine some light on it- Or at least join me in appreciation for how beautifully written this show is. (Spoilers if you haven't watched the series) Stark: - was beaten by his master- A fucking TANK, and legendary status of a fighter, because said master was afraid of the sheer potential Stark had - lived his whole life thinking himself a failure and a coward, because that's all he took from his father - only kept his Warrior legacy and heritage because of who his brother was - is the last of his bloodline, because Stoltz, aforementioned brother, encouraged him to run from certain doom. Can you imagine taking the final act of love your own flesh and blood, and interpreting that as weakness and cowardice of yourself? - didn't realize just how much he was beloved by his mentors - is still a coward, but even with uncertainty, he would rather die fighting than let harm come to anyone else - shows compassion and love to everyone he meets, because he knows better than anyone else what it was like to grow up "We parted in anger. I'm sorry for what I did to him. It wasn't out of disappointment that I struck him. I was afraid. He will one day become an incredible warrior." "We cook hamburg steaks. It's tradition where I'm from. It commemorates warriors who have tried their best." - *Eisen, Dwarven Warrior of the Hero's Party* "Hamburg steak. It's your birthday, isn't it? Don't tell the family though." "Run, Stark. You need to live." - *Stoltz, Pride of Stark's family* "...For some reason, the dragon stopped attacking the village, and I was treated like a hero! And the villagers are such nice people! I couldn't leave even if I wanted to!" "Frieren, please promise me one thing. That if I die during the fight with the dragon, promise me you'll slay the dragon no matter what." - *Stark*

This is the boss fight music I play for my DND players
My DM made this song my character's theme song =D

I would love to see Kraft v a strong mage like Lernen

And one of the things I hate is that we never see a mage vs fighter.
It's kinda cool that the two best action OSTs in Frieren are Stark's and Fern's.
And WIRBEL when this played in his victorious fight against his clone team in ep24

mute the music in Elden Ring and have this playing in the background instead whenever you have to fight a dragon
Not with dragons but I do this while fighting Rykard. I mute the music and put on Universal collapse. God devouring serpent = Devourer of gods.
And now in black myth wukong chapter 3 fighting the ice dragon 😂
CURSE YOU BAYLE !!!!!!!!!!!!

I play this song whenever I have to beat a strong boss actually haha.
あまり関係無いし長い物語では一瞬だったが、シュタルクがドラゴンに飛び付いたシーンでまずドラゴンがトカゲに近しい爬虫類の眼で描かれている事と、精一杯後方確認するような絵で描かれていた事に感動した。

Major Fairy Tail vibes from this song, which is appropriate because it has to do with a dragon
That was absolutely my first thought when I heard it play, too.
I was just there, watching the fight start start, and went "wait, hang on, did it suddenly switch animes?"
Which fairy tail theme is like this ?
