I don’t care if no one follows Rock n Roll anymore. This is my music! I will stick to real Rock music until my dying day!! This is it! Music that moves your feet and your soul! 👏🏻🎸😎
So happy I came across this version of this song as for no particular reason I could not get this tune outta my mind probably because I couldn't figure out some lyrics, a big thanks to whoever shared this version. Great song to have stuck in your head. I just couldn't think of all the lyrics.
George Thorogood and the destroyers did excellent Chuck Berry covers and this is so awesome, even Chuck himself would said then that these covers are awesome!!
Wow, I always knew George was a great bluesman. But this video clinches it. At 2:18 he switched from playing guitar right handed, to playing left handed. Didn't even see the guitar change. Even Hendrix was not that fast. Love them Destroyers
Are u sure? Because the strings would be different unless they could of switched it from a righty guitar to a lefty guitar. It would be also hard to play the chords if they switched.
Listened to George Thorogood since I was 10 years old. I'm 45 now. And I now just realized he plays left handed. Edit: Hold up, wait a minute. What the fuck is happening?
one of the most under rated guitarists ever, the man can jam.
Yes yes yes RAa
God Bless Texas!!

In other words.......... I'll be back! 😉
So maybe you should listen to the original. George butchered the lyrics and style of this song.
wow...look how young he was

Very raw and good cover of this Chuck Berry classic. Thanks.
YOUNG GEORGE .HE COULD WORK HIS GUITAR AND WAS GOOD AT IT .BUT HE,S GREAT WITH HIS LYRICS AND EXPRESSIONS .A REAL PERFORMER,
George killin' it here at age 29!
Saw him once a The Big Khahuna in Wilmington, Delaware back in early 2000s. Never mind kind of music, but I will say that his band was very tight.
He looks younger
Desde Argentina.. GENIOOOOOO!!!👌🎸😜😍😍😍😍😍
Best music quote ever “ The only record better than the first Robert Johnson album , is the second Robert Johnson album” - George T
George could dance
😃😄I'm very pls to know I'm not the only one that loves😍 the song but when last did you play it
Delaware Destroyers - best Chuck Berry cover band ever
Just shows how far plenty of attitude and a well-utilized ES-125 can take you.
this is the kind of band Chuck Berry expected promoters to provide.
I am a fan.....Chuck Berry came to town without a band cause anybody could back him. They knew the songs
Love it..
ROCK and ROLL
Superb.
The white Chuck Berry
fab version
Muito Bom Gente
@ 2:18 good thing they had their left hand guitars!
That should have been the song in back to the future that Marty play at the school party where his parents kiss(the mermaid night or so)...
Late in the video the image goes blank and then comes back with George and the bassist now playing left handed. Weird how it flipped the image.
No, they really did that live!
Are u sure? Because the strings would be different unless they could of switched it from a righty guitar to a lefty guitar. It would be also hard to play the chords if they switched.
I'm talking to Luke Hauser
♥♥♥
Saw George a lot in the early years - so where was this recorded?
Hendon College...North West London 1979..
Ģreat bit of Rhythm guitar by Mr T. Always felt that his solos let some of the tracks down.
A Chuck Berry classic
Caches ta joie…
Yes yes yes ❤❤❤RAa
When GT stands still he's ugly but when he moves he's cool looking - thank goodness he has plenty of moves. :)
George does a tribute to Mr. Blues himself Chuck Berry

He's not, the video flipped mirror image halfway through for some reason.
I didn’t know Luke skywalker played guitar
Fils de Chuck Berry et Mick jagger
Awesome. Before he destroyed that guitar by painting it white.
The whole crowd is dudes.
Got a lot of mileage on the same three chords and a bit of plagerism.
Most people who play rock n roll do
Plagiarism? You mean "cover"? Art cannot be plagiarised.
Zero plagerism, these boys were Chucks band for a while
