I do listen to audio books. Especially ones read by the author 😁 I do include them in my reading journal. Listening to a book or reading it a physical book is reading in my eyes. So I do include both as part of my reading journal 🥰

I’m surprised you don’t have a section where you journal a summary and/or your personal thoughts on each book. Thanks so much for sharing your creative pages.
Welcome to my channel dear 🥰 I actually read way to many books to do reviews for each one. I just don’t have the time to do that especially that I do so many other projects. I just love to read and don’t want to burden myself with filling out reviews and thoughts. I hope that makes sense.

What size journal are you using? Do you have a size preference?
I’m using an A5 I prefer this size for my reading journal.
the international booker prize is a good place to start searching for translated works if anyone has trouble finding any.

Your reading journal is amazing. I need to look at your class/printable because I'm terrible at drawing. What glue/adhesive do you use for the printables?

It’s actually an acrylic stamp. I got that from Everyday Explorers. It’s not available anymore but I believe it was from one of their stamp sets called Marks 🤔
I bought your fabulous class!!! Thank you!! LOVE the printables. Definitely will make setting up for 2023 much easier. What I did not see in the printables is the left hand calendar for the start of each month. Can you help me with that?

I’ve started a reading journal with the storyline chapter albums by Heidi Swapp. Do you think the dimensions of the printables would fit that size?
Oh I’m not familiar with the storyline chapters dimensions. My printables are for an A5 journal
queen of the damned, Unique Monique children's book, then try those easy to read romance novels for those hard to find letters. or children's books have a ton of fun letter books that are great pallet cleansers for in-between books. Try the animal vet books called animal ark, they have books based on animals so there should be one for zebras, ect. I loved these as a kid and they are fun rereads.

Heba, beautiful work full of inspiration. I have two big book suggestions that are translated from Spanish. 1. The Barefoot Queen by Idelfonso Falacones. 2. The Seamstress (or The Time in Between) by Maria Dueñas. I think the second one you would a little more because it takes place in Morocco pre WWII the beginning of the Spanish Civil war. It is one of my favourite books of 2022 and for sure of all time. As for Idelfonso Falcones he has a couple good books set in Spain they are long and historical taking place during the inquisition time of the Catholic Church. You can read the summaries in Goodreads for both books.

@@MyLittleJournal I remembered another book that is a tome as well, and I want to reread it. My physical copy has 672 pages, and it is called The Shell Seekers by Rosamunde Pilcher. First time I read at the age of 12 in the Greek edition we had at home. This time I will read the English edition. I will DM you on IG the photo of my edition.

I’m not very familiar with Africa but do you have your own Amazon? If so try Scribbles That Matter. They have great quality journals and they do sell on Amazon 😁

Where did you get the five star rating stamp you used in your What I Read spread? I have looked everywhere for one.
It’s from an old Studio Calico stamp but I think Everyday Explorers have a stamp with a star rating stamp.
All 5 stars took up too much space on my spread. So I just enter the number e.g. 5 for 'Great'...

What is a Goodreads challenge?
GoodReads is a website for book lovers. You can track the books you read through out the year. They also give you the option of doing a yearly challenge.
What ruler is it that you used?
I believe I used two rulers one from We R Memory Keepers which I do have linked in my amazon storefront and the other is from an Etsy shop called InkedByJeng.
