Nice tacklebox. Its identical to mine except mine is green on bottom and white or tan on top. Box cutters are old school. I think a real folding knife would work better for you. Anyway thanks for sharing
One thing that corkscrew is useful for is winding line on to help hold your line to bring in a fish that to big for your rod. Save the rod tip and your hands from line tearing in ti your hands. Blood in saltwater is not good if your surf fishing. Sharks attract to blood.
The round (classic) bobbers attach to the line just like your Thill spring bobbers - *bottom of the bobber only.* There's no reason whatsoever to attach the line at the top and the bobbers were never really designed for that, which is why it's so awkward to attach them at the top. The top hook is simply to hold the button on.
You want to you use line a lot heavier than the size of the fish your going for.like for large mouth bass around 1 to 8 pound you wanna use from 12 to 20 pound line
@@304outdoorsman Not generally, no, atleast not as far as mono goes, but there are certain exceptions. You're gonna want stronger line (15 - 25 lb) fishing a frog on a heavier rod because your Hooksets need to be pretty gnarly to get those thick hooks into the hard tissue of the bass' mouth. Additionally, bass may tangle you up in structure at times and break off light line, in the case that you're fishing close to any kind of structure they can wrap your line around. Its funny, people use 20 - 65 lb braid with 10 lb - 25 lb mono/flourocarbon leaders for bass all the time because of the way they fish for them using lures, fishing in heavy grass and structure, but in the open water in the saltwater you'll see 20 lb braid with a 10 - 15 lb leader on the regular for 10 - 30 lb fish. So weird, but yet it works so well.
Keep up the work
I'd recommend getting a pair of ozarks trail fishing pliers. They would eliminate like 4 things from your box.

You don’t use 20 pound line for bass 😂
You use like 8-12
