There are few things in this game as fun as watching a Spanish player drop a castle and then lose all his conqs right away. Second only to when a
Turks player goes fast imp, shows up at your gates with 8 HC and 2 BBC and you completely wipe his army with knights instantly
or when he turn up with 16hc and melt your knights then bbc tje shit out your eco 😂

Hey Viper, could you organize a showmatch between Donnie and Grubby?
Grubby kept making vills throughout his feudal age and he didn't think of buying food. That's why he was so late to castle. When enemies were in his base and you asked if he could click up yet, when conqs were in his base, he had 730 food and 700 gold. And he just added new vill into production after responding no to you.
I love this series.

Been watching a bit of grubby. His building placement is really awful on the regular 😂 low elo knowledge with half decent mechanics pretty funny to watch 😅
Grubby is obviously an elite gamer w/ amazing speed and mechanics, but his AoE II game sense is basement tier. I mean, the dude doesn't even know what an Eagle Warrior is or how to execute an FC build on Arena. Yet, he's always building eco and units, never panics, and takes a very long time to die. If he plays regularly for 3-4 months, he'll be scary good. If his goal is to get good quickly, he should pick a strong civ and main it for a while. Burgundians would be ideal for his play style, since they're good on most maps and are a booming civ, but with amazing power units.

Can't Grubby build skirms to counter the conqs as well?
You need a lot of skirms to actually counter conqs. And conqs are more mobile aswell.
It could be a nice start to get them to invest a lot of gold though with the benefit of skirms being trash units.
Skirms would have died hard to the paladin as well later in the game, not a good longterm unit in teamgames.
How does viper still not know how to random civ properly lol.
Edit: and Aztec bonus and last game viper said Persian elephants didn't have splash!
Viper.... counter to conqs: skirms. They take the hits nicely and drop conqs fast.

Yes. Grubby plays exeptionally well imo like imagine he is learning on the Fly, focusing on the game while simultaneously denoting Vipers orders. I know players that played a thousand games and they still can't listen and play at same time
