My district has 4 of these with three being a 77 passenger length gen ed bus and one shorty sped bus. They’re really nice. I’ve never had the chance to ride one unfortunately
What transmission does this one have? Sounds like a 3000 with that whine. The 05-2012 CE’s in my district have the Allison 3000 and the newer have the 2500.

Was never a fan of the IC's though better than a Thomas, but must admit that new CE impresses me. Dash layout looks better.

So far, only Putnam, Marshall, and Hampshire counties have these new CEs in at the dealer in Cross Lanes. Nobody else in WV has any as far as I know.

@@Project681i think it’s one too. It’s in some of our 2016 Thomas C2’s with the Cummins. The whine sounds much like those.

@@Warhorse8192 it is not a touch screen. There's a button to the right of the steering column to go through your gauge cluster settings.

Not much quieter than what we are already used to in newer buses. I think the defroster fans drowned it out on the video
