What's wild is Omni man has so many years of combat against ppl as strong as him. He doesn't only rely on his own power but also pure combat techniques. He even teaches homelander here. I love how Omni-man starts lecturing him. Like, he knows he's gonna win the fight, so might as well scold him like a child who did bad on a test before showing him who's boss.
He literally starts to tell him how to fight better. Example: “You have to turn with a punch to reduce- *Breaks Homelander’s nose* Better.”
Considering how Omni Man explained how old he is and how he viewed his wife like a pet, humans are kinda minor of course he is going to treat Homelander a test tube baby like trash.

I think what encapsulated this dynamic very well was the beginning: Homelander just ran his mouth blustering to try and intimidate Omni Man. But OM is just standing there, taking in the situation, and the first thing he says is very direct, cuts right to the bone.

Technically Viltrimites have a weakness to a specific frequency not just any loud noise. When Homelander screamed it knocked Omniman off balance. If it were 100% accurate then this would have not happened

ok I'm going to near out a bit, but I like the fact that home landers scream stunned omni man for a second (Whether this was an accident, or you did your research) but one of the few weaknesses for viltrumite are high frequency sounds and if done correctly can kill a viltrumite but because home landers scream was likely just loud but a not a high frequency it just stunned omni man for a quick sec

This Omniman vs Homelander short was AWESOME! The 2 "What if superman was evil" type characters from 2 very gore filled franchises - nicely done!
Also, my theory: VIltrimites are an EXTREMELY STUPID species of alien. Being strong doesn't make you stupid, but believing strength is the ONLY thing that matters makes you EXTREMELY STUPID. Among Humans, even the strongest body builders and the most skilled martial artists will all tell you physical strength is NOT the only thing that matters! Among Viltrimites, their actual goal was to "get rid of the weak" which currently makes them an EXTREMELY STUPID species.
One thing I never noticed in the animation was after Homelander screamed, Omni-Man’s ears bled. I really like that little detail to the Viltrumite weakness.
And after that, Omni Man imiteadly broke his jaw, so that this wouldn't happen again.
Its only a specific frequency that harms viltrimites. Not any loud sound in general. The likelihood of Homelander being able to adjust the frequency of his sonic scream to be the exact one that is harmful to Viltrimite is borderline non-existent ( assuming he was given the intel to even attempt this in the first place). Death Battle was being generous by giving him that

Idk.... if you've seen Gen V you'd know there's whole colleges of super people, who fight each other. This whole conversation of Homelander has never fought anybody his "own size" is a bit crazy to me.

Reasonably speaking, homelander's heat vision likely wouldn't even damage omniman, with viltrumites being shown to be impervious to temperatures up to those of the surface of the sun.
