- Getting robbed sucks! Anybody who's been stolen from knows the feeling. It is uniquely awful and unsettling when you discover you've been robbed. Like most every experience, it's a feeling you can't fully appreciate if you haven't been through it. But, you don't have to experience it to imagine how upsetting it is. As with all unforseen negative experiences, it's important to take stock of the big picture and gain perspective as soon as you can once the initial emotions settle down.

I am very sorry this happened to you! Yes, it is a horrible feeling. It is being violated. It made me feel less safe and question everything. And it is the same way in New York with people not willing to get involved. I hope you can get your new bike soon and keep it inside your van when you are not around. That was so nice of that man to expedite your bike to you. You have such a great outlook and understanding of people. I agree, people have so many reasons for the things they do. Desperation is a tricky thing. I got one of those extra heavy locks for my electric bike. It is so heavy that I have problems locking the bike. LOL It was worth it though. It gives a little piece of mind. I know it can still be stolen, but they may think twice when they find out how much work it will take to get past that lock. Bless you. You are such a sweet guy.
