21:56. *4736 had a flat 4A K5LA it has been rebuilt recently and repainted to YN3C At Huntington locomotive shop sadly it doesn't have that horn anymore it has a reverse k5la now instead of the flat 4A but OWWW MY EARS!!!!* 😂
The sd70aces may be retired and have a bad cab design, but they helped CSX on mainline freights with their power and were very reliable. So, I think CSX should buy 100 sd70aces.
Let me rephrase that. CSX should have numbered their fleet like this: SD70MAC: 4500-4719 AC4400CW: 1-615 ES44AC: 700-1249 And they should also have done this: They should have bought 480 SD70ACEs numbered 4720-5199
Also, in this video here are my top 3 favourite locomotives: 3. SD70MAC 2. ES44AC 1. SD70ACE. Also, if CSX would've purchased 480 SD70ACEs, EMD would've put up a great competition with GE. I miss them😢
Yeah. Such a shame the early ACe’s left a bad taste in there mouth regarding the thunder cabs. The newer ACe’s are superb honestly. But hey at least they’re rebuilding there MAC’s
Awesome footage! Love all the smoke belching sd70macs! I just found out today that CSX is purchasing the new tier 4 sd70’s very exciting! I remember when the flaired radiator MACS just hit the rails with their glistening paint I hope CSX decides to buy more after they give the small order a good testing.
It looks like a mixed freight. I looked through my published videos, and can't find the full vid. Maybe I didn't use it, or put it in with one of my longer vids back then.
Hello! The snow, the crossings, the wagoons, the cars, the cities, the music of trains,,,, luv it my friend! thanks for the awesome sharing, have a nice night and happiest christmas time sincerely Your Friend Eder
I’d have to say. This was one of my favourite video during my childhood! This Video was during the Glory Days of CSX where they had very few YN1’s, SD80MAC’s, YN2 EMD’s and More. Today tho, most of YN1’s and 2’s have been repainted or retired sadly and only a handful of YN2’s remain (specifically the AC4400’s and Dash 8&9’s :(
Back when CSX actually had SD70ACes, they were 20 of the first EMD demonstrators of the model. I'd say the rarest locos now that CSX no longer owns ACes or MACs would be their two EMD GP60's, 6797 and 6798.
#7728 "The GE Dash 8-40CW is powered by a 4,000-horsepower (3,000 kW) V16 7FDL diesel engine driving a GE GMG187 main alternator. The power generated by the main alternator drives six GE 752AG or 752AH Direct Current traction motors"
Excellent job my friend! I don't like edit too jajaja, buy you made it excellent. Beautiful places, all videos with excellent quality, a lot of CSX old and new locomotives (my favorites), diferent paint schemes, diferent year seasons, diferent speeds, meets, etc., etc. Definetly to favorites, with your permission, of course. Keep it up! And don't worry about the mistake, a edition like this is not easy to do. Greetings from San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
haha thanks, but I really do not like editing them! I tried to make it 2 hours, but it kept failing. I just wanted to try something different. I noticed I made a mistake, and put a shot of foreign power in there, which I tried not to do. I tried not to make any duplicates, I think that part worked ok....
That's 4736 old horn it has a reverse k5la now the one in the video is a flat 4A k5la it's been rebuilt recently and it's been repainted to yn3c but it doesn't have that horn anymore
Good trains bud, really liked seeing the ones from my homestate of Fl. (I.e) The Tropicana Juice trains on their way to NJ or back home to Fl. also really awesome places to railfan, subscribing to your page. Larry
at this point, there is a lot of rare sights in this vid. some of the actual "trains" no longer exist as trains, and a few of the locomotives pictured have been sold off, scrapped, or repainted in the new design.
1.5 means 1 hour and 5 tenths of an hour, also known as half an hour. So this video is 1 and 1/2 hours, or 1.5 hours. 1:50 would mean 1 hour, 50 minutes.

You know it going to be a great video when it starts of with a sd40-2
This is one compilation of videos that I can really get behind. Thanks for this from a Ohio rail fan.

Great collection of pure CSX footage. I can't wait till the 10 SD70ACe-T4's arrive on their rails!
Awesome footage and lovely trains and horns! I live just 10 blocks north of CSX trackage in my neighborhood!

1.5 hours is this 1:50:00, but this video was only 1:34:25, what happened there?
1.5 means 1 hour and 5 tenths of an hour, also known as half an hour. So this video is 1 and 1/2 hours, or 1.5 hours. 1:50 would mean 1 hour, 50 minutes.
1:15. Looks like a football stadium in the background. Do you remember what the name of the stadium was?
