NHTSA - New Car Assessment Program (NCAP) Side Pole Test:
A small-sized adult female crash test dummy is placed in the driver's seat and is secured with a seat belt. The test vehicle, angled at 75 degrees, is then pulled sideways at 20 mph (32km/h) into a 25-cm diameter pole at the driver's seating location. This test mimics a side impact crash involving a narrow, fixed object like a utility pole or tree.

That's a pretty huge amount of indent into the driver seat! I would think that even for a skinny person, you may still be crushed as a driver! And for a big guy like me, I would be crushed to death! This isn't safe looking to me as some of you have described! What is safe about getting crushed?

The test vehicle has a LED headlight package worth $3000 plus, what a waste. should have the regular headlight. Its not like its gonna interfere with the test result..

Those aren't the LED lights. They're the standard HID lights.
