I agree 100% about looking at what your leaguemates need before just sending an offer. If it's not addressing my need and doesn't at least just pass a trade calculator ballpark value, then I might just leave on read, might just decline it.
I've definitely fallen into that trap, especially early in my dynasty managerial days, of prioritizing value over points. "Well Dynasty Trade Calculator says it's a good value trade so let's do it". That's how I went from winning my league's startup season, to middle-of-the-pack Playoff cannon fodder, to "Bottom Out for Bijan" in like 5 years. I guess these are good lessons that every manager should probably learn by doing - I think it's important to know how it feels and the practical effort of digging yourself out of that hole - but it's great advice nonetheless.
The point about paying attention to camp reports, every year being a new year, players producing in new places… all I got from that is to get back in on Chase Claypool. I’m ready to get hurt again!
This was my priority leading up to the draft, take advantage of rookie fever and get my lineup squared away, now i'm getting rookies and future draft pick at half price as people realize they need to set a lineup. So i wanted some opions... I tiered up from james cook by trading him for kyren williams... Or so i thought. Everything i was looking at was saying this statistically was a good trade. This trade was made before the nfl draft and the rams ended up taking blake corum. There has been some offseason hype with corum and seeminigly williams stock has fallen slightly. Am i still ok with this trade or should i be looking to move off of williams with the rams addition of corum? I dont want to believe the offseason hype. Im under the impression that they mostly brought in curin so the rams dont run williams into the ground which would be better for him in the long run.
Still a good move imo, the move to make here is to attempt to buy Corum as a handcuff if possible. While Kyren has shown us his ceiling, he’s also shown he’s bound to miss time. Corum is an elite level handcuff imo
Yes there is. He last years jsn. High drafted rookie going to a loaded Wr class and being stuck behind vets for atleast 1 year. He’ll prob do 150 this season.
He isn’t JSN. As an actual prospect he is much higher. Much more productive. Much better athlete. Situation is similar but as a player he is much better. I slightly agree that there will be a similar time odunze next year though between tet and Luther burden

@@MegaBucklemanlast years class was relatively weak. I’d say most years there is at least one receiver that is as good or better than Odunze.
