I'm 35, came out as non-binary a couple years ago, started T a few weeks ago, top surgery consult next month... really don't know if I'm enby or just a dude. Really trying to deconstruct and unlearn and its exhausting. Thank you so much for posting this!
Your story resonates with me because I spent 7 years in a relationship that, though wonderful in some ways, was stifling in others. Only after our break up did I begin to address this within myself. Thank you for sharing. I needed this input so badly... I feel so much better beginning my journey at 30 years old. It's empowering to hear the voices of your peer-group, like I can shift my mind state from being upset about all of this in general into a mind state of acceptance and growth. I feel like I've spent 30 years being anything but me. It's such an old fight and yet so foreign. I'm happy to be coming into a higher state of self-awareness. Again, thanks for sharing!
