    Love it when artists adapt their instrument(s) to suit their music.

    Masterpiece. It is at the top of the daily playlist - such energy, emotion and technique. Death be easy child, death be easy

    Thanks for posting this, it motivated me to go and see Harry last night in Doncaster, he was amazing. Standing ovation at the end so I was not alone in having a great night.

    I love this song. and i really wish to learn how to play this one. Ive been searching online for tabs and chords and stuff but I never could find one. My question is do you have documents with notes on how to play this song? Ill be glad to hear from you. Greetings from the netherlands1

      It's a mohan veena

    • @MrGiorgioud
      @MrGiorgioud 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Mohan Veena, invented by the Indian musician Vishna Mohan Bhatt, who named the instrument after him. It is basically an acoustic archtop guitar, modified in order to accommodate 3 or 4 melody strings (Baj tar), 4 or 5 drone strings (Chikari tar) and 11, 12 or 13 sympathetic strings (Taraf tar), combining the best characteristic of the guitar and the sitar/veena/sarod. It has a reinforced tailpiece and other extra elements because the tension resulting from 20 to 22 string can generate in excess of 500 pounds of pulling power. That is about 220 kg! It is usually played with a metzrab (a metal plectrum made of wire which is made in such a way that it slides snugly on the fingertip) on the index or the index and middle finger of the right hand, and with a metal bar (usually made of stainless steel) on the left hand, and it is played like a slide guitar. And just like a sitar, it is usually tuned in D or C#. Needless to say, I’d love to have one...
