Hi, Nationals of Germany and Indonesia are eligible for visa on arrival. You don't have to apply in advance. Just show your Passport, Flight tickets and DQ Tour Booking. Health insurance won't be required as you are there for 12 hours only.

There are 2 types of visa on arrival: 1) Regular visa on arrival for 90+ nationalities. This is free. But citizens of India, Pakistan etc. have to book hotel through Discover Qatar only. Other hotel booking is not accepted. 2) GCC Residents Visa On Arrival: This is available based on your GCC Resident ID. With this you can book any hotel. But they will check if your profession is eligible. Normally high level professions (Doctors, Engineers, Manager etc.) are eligible). To confirm if your profession is eligible call Qatar Government Helpline +974 4406 9999. Another option is to apply GCC Resident Visit Visa through Hayya portal (explained above). Heath insurance may be required for any type of visit visa. As per the rule insurance is compulsory only if staying more than 30 days, but still some officers are asking. Hi David, If you are travelling after 1-2 weeks, we suggest you apply for a Tourist Visa in advance as it will save time. If there is queue at the passport control you can inform the airport staff that you have another flight to catch. 2.50 hours will be tight.

I just register today at Hayya app and received my hayya entry visa but apparently issue date is today October 19, 2023 and last entry date would be November 18, 2023. however, my schedule flight would be November 24, 2023. Hi Waheeb, Physical Card was being issued only for World Cup. In 2023 there is no physical Hayya Card.

Hi Muhammed, Indian nationals need Discover Qatar hotel booking to get visa on arrival. However you may be eligible for ETA based visa on arrival (as you have a UK student visa). In this case hotel may not be required. However we suggest that you confirm with Qatar Government Helpline at +974-44069999 or contact@hukoomi.qa.

Regarding insurance, it is not required if you are staying for less than 30 days.

Hi, For Pakistanis coming on visa on arrival, Discover Qatar hotel booking is compulsory. For proof of fund you can show credit card.
Easier option is to apply for Hayya Tourist Visa as it doesn't need DQ hotel booking or proof of fund.

Hi, Visa On Arrival can be extended for 30 more days after the first 30 days. However if you are Indian citizen this can only be done by visiting the Immigration office. Those who went for extension were also asked to extend their Discover Qatar hotel booking.

I just register today at Hayya app and received my hayya entry visa but apparently issue date is today October 19, 2023 and last entry date would be November 18, 2023. however, my schedule flight would be November 24, 2023. Is this still valid or I need to register again? I already paid for this one I’m calling the hayya hotline but no response. Qatar embassy and Qatar airways doesn’t know either.

@@nataliazuniga6291 Sometimes they will give a visa only for the duration of the hotel stay. Many visitors who booked for two days got only one week's visa. Some got two weeks. So there is no guarantee how many days you can stay.
