Play-Doh is recommended for 2 years plus, but my baby is under a year and she loved it (watch the end of the video) It is perfectly safe for your 1 year old to play with it, just make sure you supersive them so they don't eat it.
It feels pretty much the same! This one is completely safe if they do eat it though, it does have a lot of salt and it also containers cream of tartar which is a baking ingredient, so you don't want to encourage them to eat it, but it's ok if they accidentally swallow a piece. Plus it's fun to make rather than going out and buying some, you get to have the experience of making it with your kids and they can choose the color they want to make.
Totally fine if they do! It's just made of a few things you find in your kitchen and use for baked goods anyway, it does have a lot of salt so you don't want to encourage them to eat it and you want to try and prevent them from eating it, but you don't have to worry if they do happen to swallow a piece. Just monitor their play :)
Very usefull video
Glad you think so!
Great idea to use air tight container!!
Yes, can't let it dry out!
OMG so fun, have to make this with my little ones
It's so fun to make! And they can pick the color too :)
Can my 1 year old play with this?
