    Join Bryce Murph'Ariens for his tips and techniques for propagating perennial thornless blackberry plants through stool layering, or forced root division. Thornless blackberry is a large, hardy, fruit bearing shrub, which makes an excellent hedge plant, or grows readily against a fence. It's an especially tall plant, so best suited to the northern side or outer edge of the garden in the Northern Hemisphere. Best of all, no thorns to threaten the berry picker!

    You can take a cane and place it in dirt. Once it roots cut it. That works too. Good video

    Thanks for sharing. Started my permaculture last year. But geez my blackberries suffered alot of winter kill. I'm in zone 5.

    Hi, can you please advise what variety of blackberry is this?
    I have been told that the best are the Prime ARK and the Triple crown blackberries.
